Since when did kids start referring to things as “AIDS”, that’s so incredibly offensive and insensitive to people living with the disease. Id like to see this moderated more in the forums, in game, and on discords. Absolutely disgusting.

Facts, i am aware of trash gaming internet culture, but with this one, I believe a lot of people <30 who werent around for it dont understand how offensive, triggering even using the Word Aids in that fashion is, i usually dont see it used as an insult, more often its used to refer to Difficult or unfun game content or toxic online communities.
Ye this should be moderated but we dont know without context.
Because someone could literally be explaining abt how they got aids to someone in game like online friends etc
Been going on for as long as I can remember. You have to remember kids that age are really insecure and angry at various things like being a virgin still or not being attractive to girls yet because they haven’t developed and are still scrawny little guys, so they take it out on people In game because in real life they’d get beaten up.
Just block/report them and move on with your life

In my experience those kind of things are moderated… or at least are taken seriously by moderators. You will first have to report the people for that though. And unfortunately many people don’t bother with reports, because most are used to such language in video games.
I absolutly agree that this toxicity needs to stop. How can people behave in such a way and not only insult other players but also the people who actually have cancer for example.
It’s just disgusting!!
