you think AGS care? no, they don’t. They are just taking monthly salary and move on. As you can see they are putting a lot of effort to copy and paste the respond even in forums. “I will bring up to the team”, “I will bring up to the team”, “I will bring up to the team”, “I will bring up to the team” and “I will bring up to the team”. yea bring to which team? brain-dead team? or the team that never exist since launch?

When he says team he means SG. AGS has no devs working on the game. They can’t even add in game popups for upcoming evens and content like other regions do.

AGS can make promises and do as much as possible to improve communication but if SG does not care it means nothing since most of the things people want to know would come from SG.

SG also has access to this forums, but do you even see anyone from SG communicating here? Nope. SG even has a bad history of communication with KR players, just look at the latest legion commander and the drama that caused.

CM Roxx already mentioned that they will bring Ark Pass to compensate for the extended downtime for server merges, it is very likely that we will miss at least one day.

Yeah there was an open letter from someone who worked for AGS on Reddit some month ago.

The guy was saying that it was hell.

back in april you literally were complaining about communication that didn’t improve, same as these people are doing now

Things have been this way since release, in March they said they were going to improve. It has been 6 months since that sentence, and it’s still the good ol’ same. Stop trying to defend something that is indefendable : Their communication and marketing of the game SUCKS compared to other regions.

Your whole reaction of publisher to developer relationship is so off its not funny. SG doesn’t need western release to survive…even remotely. In fact it wouldn’t really surprise me if AGS went to them and offered to localize and market their successful game.

The scenario you’re describing is when a publisher is the only means to a games marketing, distribution and guide to making a game successful or survive. Obviously the best scenarios result from the publisher AND the developer being the same entity.

I’m not defending AGS or slamming SG because I, like everyone else here do-not-know who is causing these communicative delays. I do fully understand their choice to not say anything until something is definite, as the playerbase is worst than a pack of hyenas here.

Again the CMs are not inherently the issue. They’re job is to be given information and give it to the public. I promise most of what they say is screened and approved and missteps doesn’t support a lot of job security. If there is no information to give, or they’re told not to engage the forums, then they don’t. It’s simple. It’s not a choice, it’s a mandate from their employer, and despite how angry it makes players, it’s their job. They have no moral or obligatory reason to say anything until told to. And, if you as the player, are unhappy, you also have no moral or obligatory reason to play.

I also mentioned this in one of my previous answers. I saw that there is a pattern and i would be extremely surprised if AGS is bored to do their job and just waits until last moment to fill us up with the info we require.

People believe AGS is just not doing their job, when in fact, it looks like SG is just not being transparent enough with AGS.
Now as players, we shud not care about that and only look at the final deliverable, which is understandable.

But i am just wondering, if you were the publisher and you couldnt establish a better communication with the developer, what would you do?

Do you really think not knowing anything until 12 hours before patches is ok communication? Specially when there are tons of stuff that we know of because they are released before in other regions and here you pretend they doesnt exist?

And if you only communicate what you know then carry this to SG, its not good to have a work flow like that.

Amazon has given up on this game. They dont really advertise it anymore(usually when games update they at least alert pc mag or kotaku. They dont even do this), they put 0 effort into communicating updates, and the mods have gone completely silent other than an occasional 1 sentence response or mass banning everyone for being dissenters.

The economy is so broken that the game has become unplayable for the majority of the playerbase. Ive stopped logging in until they fix the blue crystal prices. I cant even buy simple decorations for my stronghold anymore. Accessories are so over inflated that its become a joke. No point in playing a game that the company running it shows no interest in anymore

Every time this get brought up we hear the classis “I will bring this up with the team”
The last time a major update got to us and you guys did not communicate with us was when the honing buff was given to us AFTER you said it will not! therefore costing people thousands of gold cause they started honing when you said it won’t come , and when you changed your mind you said “we didn’t tell you cause we wanted it as a surprise!!!” LOL
Again the same thing is happening now and people spending money on tripods to copy it in the library and people spending a lot of gold on new ptr builds , YOU NEED TO TELL US IF IT’S COMING THIS WED
