They first added in 1375 to open boss rush boxes (which was eventually removed) and now it’s 1375 to post honing mats and gems. So why are people who are above 1375 still running into AH restrictions. Clearly they’ve done some sort of analysis to come to this number and even if they didn’t, means that ilvl restrictions kinda work? So it wouldn’t matter if it was 1400 or 1500. Why do they not apply the same logic to uniformly across all types of restrictions? Kinda getting tired of the AH buying delay especially.
1370 is the threshold basically where you need to start doing Orehas or Argos in order to progress further which bots can’t do themselves.
As long as people don’t get baited into those bot bus lobbies then theoretically bots are stuck and they can’t progress any further.
Meaning if I can go way beyond that threshold, I’m not a bot therefore I shouldn’t have any restrictions at all. That’s the idea and question behind my post. It’s like they couldn’t afford to take that one extra tiny step forward to keep the player experience, before the restrictions, the same.
I think the developers assigned to Global hate us and want to push us to quit personally. Total sabotage. I mean how obvious is it to disable all AH restrictions for players with a character above 1475/1490? Simple and easy solution to help out 95% of active players.
I think it’s because servers can’t keep up KEKW
Can’t keep up with what? We have prevented bots from flooding the AH so far. Now its time for AGS to remove or change their implementation on these restrictions.
Unless they ban bussing I see no problem in bussing bots. They are like players, they pay for a carry. Nothing different.
until they decide to ban you for it
You realized that now though? ![]()
Most people actually despise bots believe it or not, I’ve seen lobbies accidentally taking someone, suspecting bots, and kick. I’ve seen boss rushes kicking bots, and those bot parties asking for a carry seems to fill a lot slower than regular free carry no bid parties.
That said, there are people happily busing bots. Yes the occasional player that didn’t care and just wanted money, sure, but most of the time it’s actually bot owners on their geared character.
But since buying bus going through oreha argos is a manual activity, i dont think they can automate that very well, this is time consuming and gruesome and basically not really “bottable”
So this is the part where it becomes useful to actually “just ban them”. Whether that be a greedy player for gold, I think busing bots should be a bannable offense. And if lucky, banning a bot owner is pulling weeds out by the root. Also ban the 1375 bots, it takes them long enough to get from 1370 to 75 because again, process is not automated, it makes banning them an actually feasible strategy
So let busing be, it’s a good bait to hook them all up
