So about tomorrow patch

so why isnt there an easy mode on dark souls and elden ring then, so all casual players can clear all the content there and enjoy the amazing story to the end

those games cater to a specifc type of players and if u dont like it then dont play it

just like BDO and LA caters to specific players to, this game isnt WoW, this game isnt FF14 its supposed to and well, was…more hardcore then those games and thats the appeal for this game and if your here to just hack and slash, sit in chaos dungeon or play some more casual hack and slash game, or if u like GRs but with easier mechanics, play monster hunter story mode and quit before you go endgame

I agree with you…

I was just pointing out the reason why AGS has gone down this road.
Because the casual player is greater in number than the hard-core player. This means that AGS will nerf things for the greater number.

It’s business to them.

You know other regions have a Makoko buff that reduces dmg taken by like 40 percent and increases the dmg they do. This buff lasts until they hit like the mid 1400’s. Are you guys going to complain when they decide to bring that over to our version too?

yeah sure, but its funny how every game dies the same isnt it? games gets altered, nerfed and censored from their original counter part for western releases, casuals cry and more things get changed, then the hardcore players leave cuz not fun anymore and then the casuals leave cuz no hardcore players left

nope, cuz it gets put in at a good time of the game, heard they possibly have paid boosts in cashshop aswell, thats also okey once we get to that point of the game, but for example giving paid boost to people into t3 next week when people have just got in is not okey.

paid boosts exists in wow and ff14 to and its okey, but it needs to be put in at a later date that when u start ur just waaaaaaay to behind, that time is not now, not next week or the week after

i was having trouble gettin to T3 and im so happy about this nerf patch, its time for us t1-t2 players to catch you T3 players up

Games doing this are always the successful ones.

Just look at WoW, FFXIV, and now Lost Ark.

New World would be a game for you. And that one hit 26k players yesterday at prime…

And I can also assure you that casuals couldn’t give less of a fuck about hardcore players! Don’t believe me? Just give it a try…

WoW have been going downhill for years, not just now due to all the controversy.

FF14 do not remove the mechanics of their extremes savage or ultimate fights to make them more accessable, sure after 1-2 months of savage clearing you get a % dmg and hp buff if u keep wiping, but oneshot mechanics are still gonna be oneshots and ultimates dont even have the buff nor can you outgear it as ur gear gets synced

I never played new world cuz the combat system etc didnt cater to me but what ive seen of the game, how was that game hardcore? the dungeons seemed very lame, sure it was a pvp game with ganking etc but also tons of exploits, but hardcore pvp and hardcore pve isnt the same thing

Yeah, that is what people saying for a decade, even when it peaked 13 Million Subscribers. :joy:

And don’t even get me started about all those praised “WoW Clones” supposed to beat it, right before they all failed and died

There is no place for a Hardcore-Focused MMORPGs in the market, except for maybe indie developers. And this was literally proven over and over for years now.

maybe by next week reset we get new skins… MAYBE

Just because people where saying the game is dying in burning crusade or WoTK doesnt mean me saying it started dying after this isnt true

Lost Ark have been a very successful game for many years just for this reason, if you dont like the hardcore then you should go play WoW or FF14 then

the game doesnt need to have 1m+ daily players to be healthy, remember how they expected to have a playerbase of 200k at the launch hype? that would fall? if we hit 200k after everyone who realizes the game isnt for them the game is still ok

And now they got much more than that, and will cater to those players

How about you go to play New World, Crowfall, Mortal Online 2, Albion, Eve Online or whatever other Niche MMO trying to cater to you?

New World is a grindfest, not hardcore at all. You sound just as selfish as the players that don’t want nerfs trying to make a game cater to you.

I once again fail to see how New World, Crowfall or Eve Online is a hardcore mmorpg in the PVE context of things, the other two I cant speak about

Lost Ark won’t be either

Hate to break it to you, but that trend is in full effect already, and you won’t do anything to stop it

Yes, you care about nothing but your self entitled greed and cry baby lack of skill. We are aware. Glad you are too.

Yeah ur right, it will not be, if they remove mechanics which are in the original version of the game, mechanics thats been there for KR for years without problems

Thats the problem people have with this change and dont come to me with this “in KR you can buy boost to t3 instantly and u et mokoko buff that makes u do more dmg and take less dmg”

Yeah, but the game have been out for years in KR so you getting to catch up if u start now makes sense, and a DR and DMG buff wont protect you from oneshots thats now been removed here.

all us “elitists” “sweaty tryhards” are trying to say and want, is that we want the game to be the same as in KR, if KR didnt have oneshot mechanics then we shouldnt either.

and saying that ff14 only caters to casuals is also wrong since extremes and above all have oneshot mechanics, savage+ making those mechanics oneshot the entire raid instead of just you if u f up. Yet they have never needed to remove those mechanics over all the years

so im pretty sure games like these flies here, just not for u, thats why Dark souls is so successful, it doesnt cater to everyone, sure. but enough players

Nice Meltdown you got there!

Wonder if you will survive the upcoming nerfs to T3 and legion raids

I didn’t claim otherwise. But at least you know how laughably sad you are.
