No I definitely see your point, I genuinely hope this is a one-off that comes from the desire to get players to T3, not because they are listening to casual players complain about the difficulty of the content. And I see your concern that this could become a pattern.
But I don’t see a reason to be raising pitchforks unless/until they continue to do this again to future content.

I’m afraid that ‘casual’ gamers are a majority… and majority rules…
You see, most people have lives outside of games, they work, they have children etc… I’m not putting anyone down that ‘games’ most of the time. It’s just a fact that there are more casual’s out there than hard-core gamers.
AGS will do things according to the highest number, they are a business, not really a gaming company. They have seen that gaming makes a lot of money, that’s why they are doing this.
Nothing wrong with that… it makes good business sense to go into gaming.
Therefore, nerfing a game that pleases the greater number of users will be what AGS will do. It’s what will make them a greater amount of money in the long run.
I know… these are cold hard facts.
I am betting AGS has regretted going into gaming… too much of a headache.
It’s also why every game they have ever tried their hand at has failed.

so why isnt there an easy mode on dark souls and elden ring then, so all casual players can clear all the content there and enjoy the amazing story to the end
those games cater to a specifc type of players and if u dont like it then dont play it
just like BDO and LA caters to specific players to, this game isnt WoW, this game isnt FF14 its supposed to and well, was…more hardcore then those games and thats the appeal for this game and if your here to just hack and slash, sit in chaos dungeon or play some more casual hack and slash game, or if u like GRs but with easier mechanics, play monster hunter story mode and quit before you go endgame

I was just pointing out the reason why AGS has gone down this road.
Because the casual player is greater in number than the hard-core player. This means that AGS will nerf things for the greater number.
It’s business to them.
You know other regions have a Makoko buff that reduces dmg taken by like 40 percent and increases the dmg they do. This buff lasts until they hit like the mid 1400’s. Are you guys going to complain when they decide to bring that over to our version too?
yeah sure, but its funny how every game dies the same isnt it? games gets altered, nerfed and censored from their original counter part for western releases, casuals cry and more things get changed, then the hardcore players leave cuz not fun anymore and then the casuals leave cuz no hardcore players left

nope, cuz it gets put in at a good time of the game, heard they possibly have paid boosts in cashshop aswell, thats also okey once we get to that point of the game, but for example giving paid boost to people into t3 next week when people have just got in is not okey.
paid boosts exists in wow and ff14 to and its okey, but it needs to be put in at a later date that when u start ur just waaaaaaay to behind, that time is not now, not next week or the week after
i was having trouble gettin to T3 and im so happy about this nerf patch, its time for us t1-t2 players to catch you T3 players up
Games doing this are always the successful ones.
Just look at WoW, FFXIV, and now Lost Ark.
New World would be a game for you. And that one hit 26k players yesterday at prime…
