I don’t like this decision to push it back at all.
But purely from a publisher/developer standpoint it’s a combination.
Now that the contracts are signed AGS needs SG and SG needs AGS.
To some extent both of them are ‘in charge’ when it comes to the global version.
Ultimately Smilegate probably has more power, but if they want to keep getting money from the global version it has to go through AGS until the current contract expires. If AGS is adamant they can’t have certain things a certain way, most of the time SG is going to swallow their creative pride and go with it.

There is was no reason for SG to do this stupid decision. Just make artist February and push the other content 1 month behind. Who cares about pvp anyways.

People are unhappy because of questionable decisions from smilegate and this is just another example.

Artist will do nothing to get more supports into the game. Adding support classes does not add support players.
This has been proven in every single region that has released artist and in every single game that releases additional traditional supports. Not just Lost Ark.
But it seems like its going the right way. Their decision just create more hate to them. I wonder if they can make “changes” about these road map. Personally, I am waiting for this Artist and I thought it will come in Western Version Anniversary in Feb. but it is not. So, APRIL for Artist then Diable 4 in JUNE. Im not saying that I will quit Lost Ark but probably will give D4 a try and see where it will lead me.

Why are there so few high ilvl Artist in other regions you ask? Well, maybe because it’s a fucking torture to get a class to your average roster level, not to even say make it your new main.
Just think about it, you have to pick a support out of 2 classes, 1 is boring so you’re left with 1 support and you don’t want to hone up classes twice.
Will this situation get better if you add more support classes?

Now it doesn’t make any difference anymore, but it would have made a big difference for many people since months where it wasn’t half a year of commitment to change your gold earners/main.
To delay the release even further just drifts more people away as it will return players in April. We’ve 4 months of nothing to day except honing.
AGS is making the same mistakes as other regions instead of learning from them. This bothers me the most. Rowen is dead born child in every other region and it will still be our major content besides Brel farm.

Don’t be a hypocrite. It’s extremely important to you. You can’t stop talking about it and have made over 30 posts in the past hour about it. You are on the forums every day repeating the same thing. Seek help.
This only works if you don’t lose a large portion of your playerbase due to delaying them for that long. A lot of people that quit LA will never come back because of the amount of time investment it requires to maintain characters for new content compared to other MMOs and games in general.

It’s not that I don’t like your mantra, but you seem to push your mantra and ideals onto other people, while also making sure others do not express other deviating opinions. That’s not normal acceptable behavior.
Seems like you think about what i am doing quite a bit. Just face it, there is no excuse for some of the behavior people display around here. You can try attacking me all you want but there is no defense for people here acting rudely and throwing temper tantrums. Apparently, you see yourself in these behaviors or you wouldnt come after me like this.
On this, I agree. What is the excuse for your behavior? Nearly 50 posts in just over an hour all saying the same thing and so much so that you don’t even have to look for it, just casually read the most recent topics as usual and your spam litters through them.

They’ve likely been planning this for months. They all sat down and agreed this was a good path forward for the game and the community. Let that sink in about the decision making, wherever/whomever is making those calls.
They could have been changing the outfits since day 1 to release the class earlier, but business intelligence said it was better to hold off and cause chaos in the community by pushing back the only new support class coming for the next 2 years(from AGS version launch).
