…you needed 200 euro to rush to t3? you could have just hit 1325 like the rest of us did for free couple of days ago…id say thats a strange “optimised route” there
Not necessarily transfer but huge incentive, which the longer they wait the bigger it’ll have to be to make ppl move on…
AGS is just slow thinking…

but i have a 2nd char close to t3 aswell , thats what the money was for 
and i bought outfits and sold them and stocked gold for books etc
It’s super annoying to collect everything again, but I think I can do it.
What I can’t fathom however, is to lose the 80€ worth of packs I’ve already spent for nothing.
Give me my money back (without risking a Steam ban!!!) and then I’ll transfer.

True, they should compensate time on aura and then some at the very least.
But overall it’s what it is - they seem to be pretty clear that EU Central is full, so little can be done there, but wait for the wave to pass.

At best they will fix aura and errors but you wont still be able to matchmake do to overpopulation
well they could give us all our purchases back if we want to swap to EUW

I moved to Calvasus when they locked Thirain, had around 40 hours over there.
Now I’m up in 182 hours total according to steam (I’m home on sick leave atm). It’s a drop in the bucket in the big whole, but I have irl friends over there (had to abandon my long time guild on Thirain already).
And now the problem is bigger than just the levels, it’s friendships, it’s collections/cards/rapport/roster/stronghold stuff. I wouldn’t mind replaying 1-50, but all the effort that’s gone into all of that. To top it off most of us have claimed both the first and second Founder’s Pack, the Twitch drops and might have bought something in the store and that all stays behind as well.
So not only time, but money and an emotional investment, to be uprooted again would probably kill it for a lot of us, I hope they can get server transfers fixed soon and I agree they should lock it back down for sure.

I think that if they could give :
- Full founder/steam pack copy
- All the gifs copy
- Twitch prime reward copy
- Twitch drop copy
Which is the real fresh start in my opinion, yes I could move to EUW too.
But instead, they choose to make royal crystals and aura cross data centers + a crap copy of the founder pack that many of us already used on EU central so that’ll never happen.

Its just sad that they wont do anything to fix and just let it die it trough for next months.
The rewards should be really astounding like granted 600 gs in T1 materials and more nice stuff to even make ppl thinking about it. At least 5000 crystals also. As plenty of ppl spent even more.
More they wait noone will ever move.
Population is still same even if nothing working, 1.1 milion at peak so ppl are not quiting yet.
This is not fre new mmo with content lasting for max one month, this has content for year of playing.

I Wish they at least Block the First Servers already. And before Prime Time maybe a short down so everyone can join equal and Stop all those macros
Hard to relate if you don’t have friends. Having friends being able to join you was a valid point at the time since they closed the servers off before f2p even got started. Since this is a region-wide problem you would still have problem with 90% of the game being unavailable even if they completely closed of founder servers.
This doesn’t mean that they couldn’t close off the servers again at a later time like now. Unfortunately there is a lot of people like you who only see everything as black and white so that’s why AGS does not close the servers again. There is no nuance allowed.
The whole closing down and opening up servers is more a symptom of how AGS operates though. They are reactive, not proactive. Being reactive kind of “works” if you have a solid architecture and code-base to work with. Unfortunately SmileGate seems to have spaghetti code which have lead AGS to dead ends. These kind of matchmaking deadlocks are just insane and a deadly sin in network coding. They should not be expected in todays day and age.
Seriously, not having character transfer available in such an old game makes me a bit uneasy. It shouldn’t be a hard thing to implement even with rosters. Also I don’t buy the “moving to a new region is even harder”, you literally have a clean slate to start from. 100 lines or so of SQL should let you move all the players from one database to another. I did this for a bank that had old legacy code (much higher stake if things go wrong in a bank than a game). It’s entirely doable, it’s just lazy developers who don’t want to work on older systems.

Why on earth would they make a new EU region, if they know it will rule out server transfers in the future. Might as well keep the servers in central EU where they are needed and where transfers could be an option at some point 
Now we’re stuck with 5-6 hour queues because they messed up…
