thats a bad idea, because there are legit ppl that still didnt make it through legion raid. Casual human players shouldnt be excluded for using a gift.
Also while i get the logic, if the problem really is money fraud, to let it use by players that only spent some good $$ without refund is a logical solution, but… again, why deny casual humans players that cant afford / dont want to spend money in the store the use of a gift?
Not allowing the use of it for 3 days (or even a week for that matters) after the purchase of it is the most reasonable solution.
That was just an example of criteria they could use; also they could combine different methods, like for example 3 days hold, but if you are a customer with good “credit history” or someone who is most likely not a bot then you get to use it instantly.
while we understand that you are here between the hammer and the anvil, and that you really do not know about an ETA for a real fix, it would really help if we had a real communication of the problem, more than just “unexpected issue, not working until further notice”, but what the fork is exactly happening. transparency would provide more trust. It would also relieve a lot of frustration if we could have a confirmation if the free Punika Powerpass and the express event that came with it will be prolongated depending how long it takes to find a solution. So many people have not used it yet, and we get the feels that we might lose it forever just because we didnt use it within a couple of days.
while i get that you might not have the answers to that, maybe you might manage to get info about those if an ETA is still not possible.

While they could have at least come up with a temporary fix until they fix it so people could actually use it and play the class… Let’s go for 3 weeks suspension of an in-game service

The 3 days hold is so bad. You buy legally the gold via currency exchange (royal crystal → gold)and can’t use it to buy your accessory you found on the auction house. Remove this non logical thing.

I stopped for awhile and was recently persuaded by some friends to give Lost Ark another go. Was keen to change my main to the arcanist… but unfortunately for me Powerpasses aren’t working.
Just wanted to add to the thread to hopefully signal that the issue is a pressing one…

While this might not be for everyone, I recently started playing the campaign again from square one on an Arcanist. (1450 DE & 3 other alts). Instead of rushing through everything because of fomo, I have watched all the cutscenes and gotten a real understanding of the story and the world of Arkesia. I have been absolutely loving it and can’t wait to hop on when I get home to keep playing through. I am not usually a campaigner in games, but have found a true appreciation for the quality of the campaign story once you actually understand everything that’s going on! (Will say, there is still a lot of things that are completely pointless and monotonous, but tis life I guess).
If you want to play the game again and find a way to enjoy your time, take the joyride through the campaign. You might find yourself loving it just like me!
