People calling it a bug are on some heavy copium lmao. Obviously censorship which many of us were worried about when we first picked the game up.
I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt purely out of the fact that it has been in the game up to now.
And also that the cutscenes were missing in beta and were addressed that it was a bug. So they were aware of it.
Is there any official response to this? I refuse it to be true. Because if it is, this is major censorship. We actually lost good 15 minutes of cutscenes featuring Sasha and Ealyn. What’s worse, there’s no compensation if you worked towards the affection rank!
AGS needs to IMMEDIATELY revert this frankly insane change!

Don’t forget that the biggest drawback is the 25 vitality potion AND 25 greater stat potions. People that already have it will have an advantage on pve content or world pvp/gvg.
People that didn’t get it will be at a disadvantage in the long run

I was 200 points away from Sasha affection last night but decided to wait until today and not waste a rapport gift. I’m sad now. This unmentioned change is a bug right? …right? @Roxx
i gave her yesterday 5 Legendary rapport items to push her to Affection (Ealyn) and now shes gone. That must be a bug otherwise its a huge joke

300 replies in a thread, all screaming doom and gloom and censorship about something that has been in the game since the start.
Just think for a moment and stop panicking.
They probably adjusted the gold rewards and it bugged out.

They forgot to remove it, or they can’t because is something that requires more efford to do it. Think that there is a title and reward involved in this.
You can’t just eliminate the rewards that many players won without justifying yourself and without treating it individually, but you can prevent new players from getting it from now on.
What makes it very clear to me that they have been deleted on purpose is that things like the hearts that appeared in the report menu on the left have also been deleted. As a programmer, I am very sure that they were purely aesthetic of the menu to indicate where there were romance rapports without having their visibility conditioned. From what I intuit that just like rank they simply deleted it from the menu.
TBH I’d stick to the issue of it being a bad move due to undue censorship not in alignment with the community. They could easily retroactively give compensation for the removal of the “affection” status and allocate those stats elsewhere. Which isn’t an adequate solution, however it would technically be “fair”. This problem is mostly about censorship that should be the point of emphasis.
Put your torches away until we get a statement.
I hope it is a bug but if not and it was actually done for censorship reasons then good job by them. So a game rated M can’t have mature stuff in it, even when the M rating says the game has suggestive themes. Makes sense. If it is a bug then good job to somehow screw that up.
What would also be amusing if this was done on purpose for that reason is the very people that decided on taking it out are probably the same people that support the woke agenda of teaching sex “education” along with some other stuff to kids in kindergarten.
Hypocrisy and insanity really knows no bounds in this ever worsening clown society/world now.

Sure, because AGS have a history of not censoring anything and being honest and competent in all the games they manage. Sorry but it’s impossible to trust them, and that’s their own fault for creating this lack of trust with their playerbase.
