I’m sorry for this issue that you are experiencing with the song of valor. When you use it do you see the animation play but there is no effect ? Or it simply does nothing with you use it?

If after verifying the game files the issue is still happening with the Song of Valor I would recommend to get in contact with a representative from the live channels to make the report on this specific issue.

For the error that is happening to your friend I’d recommend to restart the PC and open steam as admin and then try to launch the game. It might take a couple of minutes to open after the EAC shows up.

Is the EAC showing when launching the game? or is he not able to see that message either? And when launching the game does steam shows that the games is running or it shows the green bottom with the play option?

what is EAC? it pops small window and it dissapears immediatly

Correct, the EAC is the Easy Anti Cheat that opens when you launch the game.

Your friend can try reinstalling Easy Anti-Cheat.

  1. Open New World in your Steam library.
  2. Go to Settings > Manage > Browse Local Files.
  3. Open the AntiCheat folder.
  4. Run the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file.
  5. Press Repair.

Also If after repairing the EAC the game does not launch I recommend to check if there are not updates missing on the drivers and windows.

It is also not working for me and actually i am stuck here and unable to continue to play cause this is a main quest as i understand. Already tried to reinstall easycheat and verified the game files. Also play the escape song, get out the area and re-enter. Watch all animation again and repeat the steps. Still the bug is there.

Can someone solve this issue? it is a real issue which people stop playing cause they can not!
