The part about ru being good is wonderful.
Shop is cheap only if you have income in $ or € due to rubel prices. For natives it isn’t that cheap.
Shop is actually a example how bad monetisation can be in Lostark.
Often they release new outfit in a matryoshka lootbox. You open box to rng another box, to rng another box. Successfully rng 3-5 times(dont remember) and you’ll get desired outfit with some extra items on top, like una completion, etc.
They have 3 separate subs, totaling to 10+usd. Purchasable only with royals.
Knowledge transfer non existent, only way to skip story is powerpass, also purchasable only for royal crystals. (North vern costs 500 royals btw. For russians its like decent mid tier game, around 15-20$ worth in our region)
RMT is ded cause noone is buying. Not that much players, on top of not really good buying power of average player, makes RMT not worth.
The one actually good part is thier communication, but it is also partly because of how old their version is. At launch it was same shitfest as ours, undocumented changes, lacking announcements and communication. Overtime they got better with it though. Also they do major patches once in a couple months, so they have more time to actually explore and test new build and changes made to the client.
And locally, my games(in ru reffered as mail.ru games) is considered as one of trashiest p2w publsher of mmo.
Ru its doing it perfect, with roadmap, precise notes and events for buy skin sets early with discounts, without bots and with a most cheap gold exchange, thats the reason because its not worth RMT and because the search and destroy RMT not like here with people launging at Amazon for the 3 days ban after buy gold for the rest of his lives.
Dont try to explain me how RU works because im there from day 1 before season 2 come and BTW you have knowledge transfer and the powerpass available in the shop its a blessing, hiperexpres events from Argos realease not 1 month after argos just like the make with glavier and no laggy client… its hilarious how I can run in RU the game supersmoth and here its a trash with over 1 seconds freezes in PVP, same game, same computer…

I also played there from initial release, on and off, at almost all points. I speak of things i saw myself, and things you can see if log in rn. They got their first class in 5 months after release. Want that sort of cadence?
theyre 4 months delayed from KR, having artist in 2 weeks so yes… Im very happy with the RU roadmap the last 2 years and a half.

You’re comparing 2 years old region with 3 month old one in terms of available content? I see, i see.
Also, just so you know. In ru released mmos, rmt and botting is barely profitable due to lower player bases, lower average buying power of players, overall more hardcore players, since russian mmo player grew up mainly on lineage 2 instead of wow.
When the demand is low, botting becomes unprofitable.
youre the one comparing it… I just reply with a yes… I love the roadmap in RU server, dont ask next time. Dont try to argue, go and waste your time reporting the 600k+ bots.

Basically, as i mentioned above, currently ru has good communication and news about upcoming updates, however, servers are barely alive ( two servers that never have any queues), p2w and lootbox packed shop, “predatory” subs and boosts that are buyable only with royal crystals.
But they have no bots, so 100% better, right?

More of the same everyday stuff. Keep going on the threads for an artist release since maybe it might build enough pressure or maybe it might not but it’s worth a try if you want the class so bad. It’s probably bad enough to the point where if we had to bypass moral values I think most people would take the chance to do it if it means a faster release for artist at this point. Imagine the possibilities they become endless.

If you remove the bots we have in EU around 100k players live, were not enough for 2 servers buts its much better have 20 servers for allocate the 600k bots 
BTW the week before Valtan I login in RU and build a PUG valtan run for teach my guild mates strats, in less than 5 minutes I get the party. Thats the real world… but if you have your own world, cool… stay in the loop.

So its predatory offer powerpass in the cash shop (5000 for swip the punika history its ok 
) but the guy spending 40.000 dollars for reach 1490 first day its a blessing. Everything its predatory in this game and everything its doable as F2P the only point for pay its quality of life stuff just like offer power pass (at least to berna) in the cash shop.
144 millions in RU… thats mean of course, they need less servers because theyre less people in RU country specially when your player base isnt 80% bots… wow so hard to understand maths.
You can make oreha in 5 minutes because theyre enough players in the game right now, just like theyre enough players in RU for run Valtan Hard in 5 minutes. easy peasy.
Anyway its a F2P I have planned take a break in EU because its so slow and enjoy Artist in RU a few weeks. The magic of be free and play what I want and spend a few bucks if I want.

1.3mil players on launch also were all bots? Spread over 25 servers, napkin math suggests that max server capacity is around 50k. Assuming busy shows at 50%(i think lower but lets stick to 50), ru has around 50-60k players at max.
Don’t forget that Striker came out before Artist and we got that shit on release.
