Sorceress is too squishy

True, these sets of cards are commonly used by the people in Korea too. Even the end spec players choose this on a try-party for the new raids. I can’t remember the names but it’s 3 Shoeshire decks (one with Geralt of Rivia, Gandalf, and a fat dude with a stick) and 3 Tortoyk decks (Peter Pan and 2 Stone dudes). These set combos will boost your survivability for sure.

maybe you use grudge, you can also use defensive card sets or level a bit your armor.

Try elegant touch!! Best skill ever. When you get nightmare set. That skill make you unkillable if there is a support in your party as well.

That doesn’t mean you can get hit left and right. Still need to learn the boss’s pattern for best DPS and survivability.

With it, your hp will hardly drop below 80% or even get touch at all. Even if you happen to make a mistake and get hit a few times

Actually, the optimal way would be to play with Grudge and possibly Cursed Doll and you would take even more damage and heal even less with potions. You have to memorize the patterns and dodge them.

There are easy to understand video guides available for all guardians on Maxroll.

funny i find SF being more suishy than sorc

Any melee wil feel more squishy in Yoho fight. Tail slaps hurt a lot.
When it comes to sorc and ranged in general Yoho is fairly easy fight and you shouldn’t take much damage at all. dodge the charges wich are pretty easy to tell and stop dps and dodge meteros when they come up not worth squeezing dmg during those.

Because yoho has that unpredictable tail swipe that will take away 1/3 of your hp. Sorc can just stay at mid range just out of tail swipe range, and watch out for random rain.
Also SF doesn’t have paralysis immunity on 2 main dps skills, so there is that too.

The thing is, not everyone has that card set.
And yes, no one should take any char that has lvl 1 or 2 grudge at 1370 on yoho.
But i will also decline dps that use heavy armor, because I don’t want 9 min yoho.

You’ve inspired me. That’s it… I’m doing it… I’m putting Heavy Armor on my sorceress.

If it was my main, I might not. But I might max her out at 1400 so I’m not too concerned about not getting in parties. I’ll mostly be doing PUGs anyway.

And if I change my mind in a few months, by then, I’ll have learned the mechs better and hopefully won’t need it anymore.

nop sorc is squishy u can stay at range on yoho mostly to mitigate dmg u can avoid other then that just know what he does an act accordingly

DO NOT put heavy armor on your sorc its a waste of money resources and pheons/gold its a bad engraving that no one in the right mind should use except for supports and thats a BIG MAYBE as last engraving cus they have nothing else

One important question is, do you collect orbs that yoho pawns drop? Those reduce incoming damage by a lot and you must have 3 stacks at all times otherwise you are getting deleted, especially if you have grudge.

completely agree. been my experience too. even with heavy armor 3 and elegians touch it still feels too squishy. they do help a bit though, but not as much as they should be doing

I already have +9 Heavy Armor Engraving Books, so I’d just have to buy 2 accessories of +3 each to give it a shot. It’ll cost me less than 500 gold to pull it off. It’s worth a shot if it’ll reduce my rage in this game

you’re suppose to kill the little foxes to get defense stacks if it’s hurting

well what can i tell you other than good luck with it? people already told you and you even said using heavy armor on sorc is a bad idea. but yeah i guess whatever it’s your character after all but i don’t understand the point of making a thread if you’ll do what’s in your head anyways? if you knew the answers why even ask the questions?

more ilvl will unsquishy you. you can keep all the dps things.

How you going to recommend classes to faceroll ignoring mechs and not talk about the king himself the Blue Gunlancer?

Side note: Heavy Armor Bards are surprisingly beefy, and can tank almost any hit short of a wipe mechanic in end-game content, provided they have their abilities up.

I see you mentioned Heavy Armor, don’t go this engraving for Sorceress. It’s not worth it.
You have to learn his attacks and dodge these, be careful when you’re casting abilities to avoid getting hit in animation-lock. and don’t greed for DPS.

Being squishy is the trade for having massive DPS like a Sorceress.
On a sidenote, you could play Reflux sorceress which is easier as you can just spam abilities and use “Blink” to avoid attacks.

Dodging is the real answer, but ilvl and gearing and having higher quality armor helps as well.
