kekw …ofc no one takes you if you even dont know why people should take you. Ever red your spells? group dmg reduction, grp AP buff and MOST IMPORTANTLY u have a cleanse/dispell !!! using those spells correctly u should be a fan favorite of the melee classes. Besides u should chill and not judge until u hit 1340+ , things start to change then.
having played 5 classes in pvp and pve this far i personally do feel that up to this point (my sf is in t3) soul fist definitely underperforms.
and no, i am not saying you cant play the class well, i am just saying at the same skill level other classes are easier and perform better.
you WILL miss your awakening sometimes, boss attack pattern isnt set in stone, some bosses are extremely mobile with dashes and blinks.

Well I’m just glad I’m not alone thinking this class right now is pretty bad.
To contribute you got to have perfect engravings and play perfect with your skills and cds while the sorcs and zerks can mash Q and have level 1 engravings to do more damage than you.
I started playing this game with a sorc, got her to 1330+ then got bored and changed to soulfist… damn i’m an idiot.
If you are still defending this class you are just having a hard time accepting the reality.
Soulfist right now is botton of the dps charts for sure. (this could change ofc when they release more endgame content where you get bigger stats on your gear)

I dropped mine to, not even daily feels fun with her.
But I don’t see that even buffs will help.
I think it’s a super niche class, and I simply don’t fill that nice. And I can imagine the most feel similar.
the funny thing is they are nerfing soulfist next patch. SOULFIST. out of all the classes. Classes and dblades, sorcs and pallies exist, dominating both pvp and pve with ease. but no SOULFIST needs a nerf. I have lost so much faith in smilegate as a soulfist player you have no idea. How can it even be possible. I see KR soulfists on the KR forums and they have also lost immensive faith in smilegate. Pls dont go forward with the patch notes.

So far from what I’ve heard, soulfists are gaining about 30% damage buff accross all skills.
Uhhhhh the PTR is buffing everything except autos and awakening by like 30% and buffing the awakening by 55%
I’m assuming youre robust spirit build. It is pretty rough even early in tier 3. If you can stick with it, it pays off dividends. Once you get youre 3x3 engravings, gems, 1500+ spec, sequence youre abilities correctly to maximize dps and are able to consistently dodge mechanics and maximize uptime you will become a god. You have to go through some pain to get there first though. This will probably all change with the strange balance patch though so take it with a grain of salt.
Flash step is just too good of an ability to not play soulfist. Best mobility in the game.
being able to cancel hype is probably the change i needed the most. I hated the times when ur in lvl 3 hype and the boss just decides to peace out.
With this buff on the skills maybe Energy Overflow could be the best build since you spam non stop.
I’m really looking for this balance since I like this class so much.
If Soulfist ist at the bottom of dps charts then I am only getting really bad team mates in any kind of matchmaking since I out perform them often, even with worse gear than they have, because my soulfist is only a twink, in which i havent invested much gold. It’s also only at ilvl1340 and while I am probably better that the average player, i am far from a real good player.
So I am pretty sure your statement is just false, especially since dps also heavily depends on grp comp + encounter, which makes such “charts” kinda worthless. But as I read somewhere: “Even 15 years of WoW couldnt teach that to the majority of people.”

The result would be that the dps differences between the classes are negligible, consideren we dont have such fights as shown.
Man let me just say this for you: We do not play on korean server.
Our server does not have the same gear so classes like sorc, zerk and blade that are strong from the start do alot more damage than any fighter.

Even the devs think the class needs help. I’m very thankfull for this buff.
You are also losing all your self buffs on skills, which is a net loss of dps for a gain in QOL.
Lol anyone saying that the PTR changes is a buff to Soulfist need to learn the numbers before spreading misinformation. It’s a nerf. A fat nerf. It’s a sizable nerf for Robust Spirit and a HUGE nerf for Energy Overflow. If you calculate the lv 5 self-buff tripods and see the difference in the QoL gains, you are literally losing 20%.
I love SF and I play EO as my main ALT but to be fair, I’ve only gotten MVP once in my journey lol. And I have to pump the energy to dish out the DPS while keeping uptime with buffs. Not easy. Needless to say, I would definitely enjoy this at a higher level with max swift and a solid set of gems. But the future of Soulfist is rather bleak at this point. So bleak I can’t even think about investing in tripods because no one knows what the self-buffs are going to turn into (Because PTR changes isn’t a confirmed thing).
So now I’m just focusing on my main and just waiting for a glimmer of hope that she’s not getting cucked.
It seems the changes were reverted, we get to keep self buffing and they kept about 5-10% dmg buff on the skills.

Think the problem with Soulfist is her Hype Mechanic. The timer needs to be bigger and the recovery after using Hype needs to be shorter.
Yep. Changes were reverted and SF gets a 7% increase in overall damage. All is well. As for the OP, don’t fret. Soulfist is a hard class and she really doesn’t shine until relic. She is pretty nice at 1370+ already but the major feels will come with relic set. So hang in there!
you are probably not hitting his combo correctly and probably wasting buffs.
soulfist is very strong im 1410 and 80% of the times i end up mvp or second top damage, in any content argos included.
can you go make a short video on the dps dummy and show us a full rotation? i want to learn how to squeeze all i can out of the class
