Summary: Right now everything is a mess because a lot of BR is selecting Kaseros and SA is selecting Kaseros too as of right now. And is going to make a mess in the future because these 2 communities don’t speak with each other. So that server is going to be full and half of the people don’t want to speak with the other half (historically speaking is like that). So please do as New World did with the servers.
We’re getting close to lunch and amazon already said that we’re getting 2 servers in South America. I think we’re going to need to add a Description after the name of the server about the recommendation of language use in the server. It would be like New World did with the server (PR and ESP/EN)
In South America, we have 2 “common” languages, Spanish and Portugese. Historically the Brasilian people that speak Portuguese, they don’t talk Spanish or English and that’s why is VERY difficult to talk with them and coordinate a Raid or Dungeon.
That we’re requesting if possible to add a description after the name of the server, for example:
Kaseros (PT-BR)
Agaton (ESP/ENG)
By doing this we’re going to have a better distribution of the people that talks the same languages and we’re not going to have issues with coordination in the groups or raids and also helps the community to pick a server faster.
Please take this recommendation as it will help the South America community A LOT. Please if so do it before lunch as this will help the community to start in the server that speaks the same language and can start grinding and leveling. Otherwise its going to be requested in a future transfer between servers and is going to be a mess.

Although I agree this should have been a thing, I am not sure they will change that for launch, the best we can do is to organize this ourselves, from what I see from the Brazilian community we are mostly going into Kazeros.
Well here is the thing, I’ve noticed that a lot of Spanish speakers are going to Kazeros too. We can’t organize this, and that is why we need Amazon intervention before is too late.
There was a poll in the Lost Ark ES Oficial Discord and they are saying that they are going to Kazeros too (like 86% of the people that voted) So that is why we require to request amazon to help. It’s 100% sure that we can’t do it by ourselves because we don’t have a common channel to speak between communities. Yes we have this forum but I’m not seeing post created to talk about this and that is why I’m showing here.
I totally agree it would be much more effective if they did it.
Lets hope if they do it isn’t too late. (or they offer some kind of transfer once they do)
we need this to happen, so far both communities are calling for the same server and no1 planning on playing the other one, everything would be solved just with spanish and portuguese tags, that would also balance population across servers since brazil has by itself the same amount of people as the other south american countries togheter
I don’t see the need to divide the community with labels, much of the content is cross server. and the servers have great capacity, I feel that the only thing that tagging does is increase the distance between players who do not speak the same language; if this is annoying for some, it does not mean that it is the same for all
If you are talking about Brazilians our language abbreviation is PT-BR or BR, I don’t understand what PR means, and I am not being silly here, I really don’t.

In regards to the reddit link. Please notice that there is no source for that screenshot. And there is a lot of people that speaks spanish that keep selecting kaseros.
what we are trying to avoid here is that the people that doesnt speak english gets stucked with his progress and founder pack in a server where 80% of the population speaks something he will never understand, it might not be annoying for you but in a mmo where comunication between players are most important part of it will be at least make your game experience harder. since communities will still be able to play togheter since some of the content is still cross server and also you are always free to not follow the tags and play wherever you want, we are not trying to divide, what we want is make people who speaks just 1 language life easier. btw the game is translated in various languages because of reasons like this, not everyone speaks english and everyone enjoys the game more if they are aware of whats happening around them
the majority of the latam community will play in kazeros and the latam guild leaders are already agreeing in discords of the spanish-speaking community.

I understand you, but this is specifically in the case of English speakers, personally I would like them to do something for English speakers on sa servers, but I don’t see it relevant for the other 2 languages
