Submitted a ticket and got some generic answer about resetting my network which I did try even though I don’t see how flushing my DNS would bring back a quest that was removed on the server side. The event description stated that it would end on 11/23/22 and the only in game time limit was that a character had to be chosen prior to 11/16/22. This is exactly the same situation the current Hyper Express event has where the event itself ends after a character selection deadline. Posting here in hopes that I can get something more informative than what customer service sent in their email.

Never trust descriptions ingame.
Always operate with what is said on the news, and even then dont assume anything.
Other way around in this case. The announcement said 11/23/22 and the exact wording in game was only specific to character selection. See patch notes below for reference.

Its like stonks in a sense.
They literally don’t know when the next patch will come out and made a guess of Wednesday November 23 when they wrote it.
Then NOBODY ever updated the text.
You just cannot trust … anything AGS writes.
Honestly editing the text would have been just as bad. Not sure why they can’t just run both at the same time. They could do two daily login drops at the same time.

“Rage with the Machinist” Special Event Missions
The Special Event Missions launched with September’s “Rage with the Machinist” Update incorrectly ended a week early with the release of the November 16th update. This event was scheduled to run until November 23rd, and we will be reactivating it with our weekly update next week. The event will then run for an additional week-long window between November 23rd and November 30th to give players the original amount of time to complete these events."
