The upgrade those gives is way to small. Im at item level 540 and have 5 of those dosnt help me at all. cant remember how much but they each give 1 or 3% increase wich isnt enough tbh. I cant see how I shall get to 600 with 40% chance. Ill end up just loosing all my materials.
I think its so bad im about to give up on the game. Feel im stuck here at 540 and cant get further in the game. All the way here I have got 2 cube tickets and cant get those stars in plenty as we need. Also you can only apply 10 of them in honoring. I think there is a part here in the game that isnt ballanced.
It dosnt give the mood to move on because it at this point it just feels impossible. I have heard that in Asian they have a higher chance when honoring than we have here wich I find odd.
This mechanic is fine up the the rank 10, then it just sucks after that point. But its maybe intentional to make players leave so the que go away. At least its a good way to even that out.
I like the game but its sad it ends this way. If Islands where a thing you could do on alts aswell could help a bit. But still those stars is just not worth it in my mind, since at my item level i loose the stars on fail honoring anyway.
I hope there will be a change to it at some point wich a doubt in an old game by now. This game was my big hope, and it was until now. There is not point in just be in the game at this tier since i have done all islands there is to my item level, so all I have left is to max out adventure tome wich dosnt change my gear score anyway.
For now I have just given up when you cant see an end on things then its just not fun anymore.
lol that dosnt help your main, you cant get more materials, other than from vendors and chaos dungeons. And you could have given some real feedback instead of being a complete a…hole. There are no more option at this point to upgrade my gear gear rather than fail after fail until you get lucky after month of chaos dungeon farm just to throw the materials away in new attempts. No matter what you say you need to upgrade your tier 1 set to item level 600 nothing can change that and its still almost impossible.
And say i have done nothing is not true I have completet all island 250 to get materials. all that materials are lost on upgrade attempts with stars aswell. The only source of materials now is vendor/guild vendor and the very small amount from chaos dungeons. If I use stars now 10 each time, I still dont have a good chance of succes.
There is a pity system bro, dont worry but yeah, if you are already crying at 540 ilvl you really should stop playing (Cuz upgrading on T3 +20 it’s like 1% success rate per try)
Just wanted to say the first response in this thread is super A-holish. Don’t be like Cirao because it definitely is a bad look. Remember this is a game and there are wars going on and people dying in real life. It’s not that serious. FFS
Hey, I’m ilvl 550, so two pieces left to get 560. A similar place to you know. But really I feel like the game is only starting to open up. We’ve just been introduced to the progression system via upgrades and what the real grind is about. Getting materials to upgrade for more content. I have plenty of mats to reach 560 atm. And don’t feel like I’m running out of sources. With regard to the chances of the upgrading failing, I’m happy all my work isn’t broken or destroyed by a failure. As has been the case in past games. I’d rather go an grind materials in group content then loose all that work. Have you joined a guild? They should help with finding content, getting materials and finding other sources. Also helps to take the focus away from gearing up as fast as possible.
Remember, It’s not a race to the top. We can already see players complaining about a lack of content, mainly because they rushed to gear up instead of enjoying the game.
