You are literally a frog in a well if you think you will like this game long term if you don’t like the current endgame that will inevitably happen.
Lost Ark is all about legion raid enjoyment long term.
These are hardcore raids that will only get harder and players WILL see this with vykas. And I suspect players will quit with vykas because the learning curve only gets harder.
After that it’s just raid after raid for awhile for that fun hardcore raiding experience with some new guardian and events thrown in for the casuals.
After that it’s yoz jars and ester weapons for the whales while we wait for new content like in KR. I mean that’s lost ark…so play other games and don’t overthink it, that’s Lost Ark future.
Decent chance the AGS release wont make it past the 2nd quarter since those reports to smilegate have to be unbelievably awful and wouldnt be surprised if that is behind the content delays
People should complain about what they want to complain instead of having rose colored glasses on. They said “feedback” is important and they want to hear it.
I literally listed out ACTIONED items which are reflective of hard work, feedback taken and are correctly executed.
Nothing rose colored about that.
The version we have is by no means perfect, no client is. But to discount all the good things that have been done to focus on slightly delayed content?
The content they roll out has few to no issues. The Valtan release and all it’s QOL came out mostly flawless.
I’ll take delays and flawless launches for content releases vs earlier deployed and buggy instances.

wrong, smilegate wanted to have the global release up to date with KR within a few patches however AGS didnt want that, not sure if you have forgotten but AGS intentionally held back content until more players reached a higher item level
AGS had the opportunity to release legion, thunderwings, south vern chaos dungeons when they released south vern but they intentionally held it back to please casual players that have not put in the time to reach ivl 1415
they announced they were holding back this content the day of the patch after announcing an hour before that south vern wasnt being released and maintenance was delayed
Your losing trust in a company that pushed 2 years of content out in 3 months? No the issue here is that were getting people who want honing buffs, thinking it’ll be the same as Korea. So they stop progressing. They stop progressing and new legion raids come out then they complain they can’t do it because they paused progression and was selling materials. Than you have the issue of needing time to progress to higher tiers of legion raids through grinding. But because people want the content which should have a spot gap of 3-6 months to progress comfortably. People again complain even more that they want to catch up to Korea’s patch. Where nearly more than what 70% isn’t close to valtan or Hardmode Valtan. The issue isn’t the companies the issue is the player base wanting to catch up to the main game way to quickly. They have 3 years on us, but you want the end game now. WIthout playing anything at all and just rushing content. That isn’t even enjoyable. I look at most of my friends, they don’t even know the story, shot they don’t even know some of the names of the major city hubs or continents. They refer to valtan as the blue cow thing, and argos as the white goat that sits like it need to poop. We all need to relax a little bit, your all burning out and probably haven’t even immersed your self in the MMO. " BUT IM ALREADY VYKAS READY" no one cares, stop pressing others to where you want to be. Most people want to get to Valtan first, maybe don’t even release vykas and help the majority of people get more materials through more events. Hold off on patchs and lets’s get some events.
SG decides what gets released and when it gets released. They are sending the “patches” to AGS to localize. AGS does not decide the contents of the patch.
wrong again, publishers have complete authority over patches implementation and their release scedule developers need approval from publishers before pushing any updates they also have to have any changes made that are requested by said publisher
Look into how anything has been published in the past 600 years everything passes from writer to publisher with publishers requesting changes constantly

I want you to correct you, you do not know the specifics of the contract betweeen this publisher and it’s developer and it’s highly confidential. This is not a structure lead the same way everytime.
Also, (because I’m going to ignore what you just said that’s pretty obvious), Gold river was the one that mentioned that wanted classes every 2 months BEFORE the game launched… so I see not reason of they being hold back to catch up. You’re just making up stuff I’m afraid.
