Why?
I’ve started working on this bot a few months back when I and friends of mine started playing Lost Ark. There were really long queues and we did not want to turn on the game to see if there are queues - so I’ve decided I would make a bot which shows current Lost Ark’s server statuses. As time went by, I’ve added more functionality to this bot, mainly suggested by the bot’s community.
Current features
There are somewhat 4 distinct features of the bot:
- Server Dashboard
- Server status changes notifications
- News and Forums notifications
- Twitter notifications
Server Dashboard
As the name says, this feature allows you to create a dashboard that shows current server statuses. This dashboard can be highly customized! (Hide regions, add servers to the Favorite section, change the language of the dashboard, etc.)
Server status changes notifications
This is a part of the “Notifications” feature.
This feature allows you to be informed when servers change their statuses. Simple as that. You can also whitelist/blacklist certain statuses to suit your needs.
News and Forums notifications
This is a part of the “Notifications” feature.
You can also receive News from Lost Ark’s News page and Forums topics from this Forums page. Pretty handy!
Twitter notifications
This is a part of the “Notifications” feature.
If News and Forums aren’t enough, you can also follow Lost Ark’s Twitter accounts with this bot. You can even filter their Tweets with keywords!
This bot is open-source
And it is made in Java. And… The code is not beautiful, but it is working. Also, the README is old haha
