Stealth missions would it be possible to add checkpoints

Hi! I wanted to see if it would be possible to add checkpoints to the stealth missions (quest). For example on Sublime Isle - the quest A Pleasant Aroma. You could add checkpoints for when you first get in the basement, the second room with dogs & oger guards while opening jail cells, the chair section after, ext.

I’ve seen some frustrated players that have posted regarding not even wanting to do these quest. I don’t believe it as drastic to remove them, IMO I think checkpoints would make it more manageable and fun. Compared to having a lag spike, some odd camera angle where you have to click the jail cell more than once. All while trying to avoid the circles and if you fail having to start all the way at the beginning is really not fun and just makes it annoying/frustrating.

Here are similar tickets but neither really suggested checkpoints.

Just a checkpoint at the start of each room/encounter would be good.

It doesn’t make it less ‘fun’ to make it more accessible and less infuriating when you get 15mins in to a stealth dungeons just to be booted back to the start because of something you couldn’t foresee and couldn’t avoid.

It won’t take away from the experience and the enjoyment of, what I find, quite a food change of pace if you just booted people back to the start of the room/section rather than the entire dungeon.

Bump. Having to restart over and over and over to learn all the pathing glitches is unfun. Either add checkpoints or fix the pathing so my character walks straight to the point I click and doesn’t detour into the mobs.

If these were optional it would be fine, but they are mandatory to progress. They should be set up in a way that all players can pass them with a minimum of frustration and wasted time.

Cant bump this post enough!!! Only on my third try of “A Pleasant Fragrance” and already sick of the repetition.

Agree! I absolutely hate getting almost through a stealth mission, then failing due to something unforeseen (or worse, a bug/glitch - I’m on Mari so this is not uncommon either due to server lag). I only have so much time to play, and it feels awful to spend most of that time almost completing the instance, then losing at the last minute. Currently refusing to even go near Sublime and Metus Islands for this reason. I see no reason why we can’t have a couple checkpoints in the medium to large sized stealth instances.
