It seems it isnt happening to everybody a streamer was able to start the download, He probably just got lucky so is probably steam overwhelmed with request
Lets bring it down to the point, the biggest Server Company of the word which knows how the hype of the game is and fucked up the NW lunch now also fucked up the next lunch. That not what I would call a “Gaming Company”.

It’s worse than that.
If you look at the location where the many many GB of files were downloaded/stored too…
They are all deleted/gone. Not sure why, thinking that they pushed a small update that did it and now they need to fix all that.
Shame on them because we paid for this time.

So far just to restart the steam client.
Exactly the same issue here. They announced pre-loading was available for yesterday, but STEAM wouldn’t allow me to pre-load any of it. Kept giving me an APP NOT RELEASED message. So now, No pre-load to make use of and the same Amazon Gaming BS that New World experienced on day one. Go figure.

Same here… I’m getting a connection timeout that jumps to starting download then back. Now we wait…
Yeah, I’m not sure what’s going on here.
I can download games and updates for existing games through steam, just not this lost ark update.
I’ve cleared the download cache, changed steam servers, and rebooted this machine.
The encrypted files are not stored in the local game files, they are in a depot folder and are then decrypted and unpacked to the local folder. The issues are with steams servers not Lost Ark’s

So I uninstalled and cannot re-download, so do not try that.

It’s still not lunch time in my time zone so they didn’t really fuck up my lunch.
Same here, just gives the connection time out.
Though I’m thinking that everyone will have to re-install…
Going to be a fun launch day haha.
The game has been removed from the folder when starting this “Update” so the game is gone.

Same here, pre-downloaded. But now seems there is zero space being used for it…
