Steam Refund - Can anyone help?

So… who wants to help me run in circles and help me figure this one out?

I mean… in-game purchases are generally never refundable in like most cases.
What are you even trying to refund?

i’d say not a great section of the forums to ask for help, but as stated above most games with in game purchases don’t allow for refunds on those items.

You even have to check a box that states that it isn’t refundable

It always seems weird when people complain that something they were told is non-refundable can’t be refunded.

You can not refund f2p game nor ingame purchases.

if you do a chargeback through your bank it’s usually a perma ban too so uhh

You’re probably out of luck. There are way too many confirmations to play it off as an accident, a chargeback will get your account locked up, and you agreed to it being a non-refundable purchase. Take it as a lesson learned.

Just a heads up, once you get a refund many people have said they will ban your account. Only simply because they cannot take back the item that was sold to you since its digital and your account will no longer be in use.

Founders packs were available for refund as long you didn’t claim it from your products inventory. Dunno if it is still the case with others purchases like actuals steam packs. But if you claimed what you bought, you don’t have any rights to claim a refund.

Thank you very much for the approach and Have a warm welcome to our Lost Ark Forum,

I do understand how frustrating this should be since the fact you’re not able to get a refund for that purpose, in addition to that and based on the second line of the Amazon Games Refund Policy all types of in-games purchases are not refundable.

It quotes:

" * After release, all games developed and/or published by Amazon Games and purchased from Amazon are non-returnable and non-refundable at this time. This includes digital items purchased or unlocked through in-game stores. "

There for, I’m sorry for the confusion the college from live support may induce you about steam refunding in-game items.

I’m sorry for all type of inconveniences and problems this issue may have caused you without mention the bad experience you have gone through.

I hope this information granted you gives a great and helpful insight.
