You do not need to max a character. It is a completition bonus, but to max it… barely anyone goes for that. I played a LOT (really, a lot) on RU servers, barely anyone maxes it out, no one becomes a raid boss.
These “Whales” are paying so you dont have to. Show some respect for the Whales
PLEASE tell me how you can get 10 months of advancement in 1 day? Have you even played the game and seen the shop? You can get like 5% of what you’d get in materials from it compared to your 2 Daily Chaos Dungeon runs. The shop does NOT have UNLIMITED amount of materials you can buy. Do your research before you speak please.

How many people actually do bother to upgrade past +15 before they have all of their alts there?
Its rly sad to see, how many gamers are fine with this money seeking mechanics…i can hardly believe it…this kind of “new gamers philosphy” will be the reason for what is coming in the future…where are the good old days.
Fifa mechanics in every game, and if u complain it…users will defend it…omg…the mainstream is so…urgh…destroy themself.
But if the server isnt on, and they cant waste their time in a videogame, they cry like children.

Enlighten everybody here how FREE TO PLAY game can make money to sustain costs for their operations and Staff please. Just selling skins who majority might not care about? Also don’t compare FIFA which is BUY TO PLAY to a FREE TO PLAY game.
It literally all started with accepting the in game shops for cosmetics. They (publishers) will push the boundries with p2w or pay to progress or pay for convience now.
The battle is already lost unless all the consumers stop buying those things which will NOT happen.

lets be real for a second, P2W aspect in this game is little, and its for PvE only, so why do you even bother to argue this one? IDC if ppl around me do T3+ Stuff, and i dont. Its not like they buying Gladiatior Titles for gold like in other games, its PvE, and it simply doesnt matter if ppl are better geared than you. Just enjoy your stay in this F2P game.

You don’t need to max out your gear ever. You only need to get to +15-s which is doable as F2P players.
Edit: Also as I said point out something that they can buy but you can’t achieve. You said you can’t get max gear. You can, but you are hindering your progress since if you go from t1-t2 for example +15 is enough. You want to max gear? sure go for it, however you are better off getting the t2 gear same in t2-> t3. You want to max t3? Why? Once they release t4 it’s pointless again.
What people don’t realise is that they don’t get any income from you playing the game. If they don’t make ANY money off the game you think they won’t put some things in places to incentivize people to spend money? Game will just die instantly because they’ll be unable to sustain the running costs. So what people seem to think it’s fine for free to play game to come out > Have no money spending options and then just die in a month because they run out of money.
Are you new to KR games? I play ragnarok to this day… that being said, is lost ark even that much of a p2w? Cause I don’t think it’s that bad.

It’s a damn game, there are plenty of them out there, no amount of QQuing will speed things up. Do you think Amazon will release something from the love of the planet and ppl on the said planet? Its a free game, they can implement whatever system they want in cash shop.
We as players can choose to buy a said item or just move on to the next game. You are not a hostage of this game or any game.
You need to learn that games are just that - games. They are supposed to be fun, not make you worry about some schmuck streamer maxing out his chars.
You will not win just cause you maxed your char.
Just play the game and play it for fun and try to meet ppl and not worry about min-maxing cause no one gives 2 cents about your min-maxing, honestly, no one around you cares
frankly no one, most ppl and everyone in my friends list do not do this on RU servers. On T3 at +8 , abyss - raid gear, you are already an RAID BOSS, no challenge in game whatsoever. Now, maxing beyond that idd takes a lot of time, but who the fk does that? No one, most will focus on their alts after reaching that threshold.
Ppl start working at that point (>+8-10 on T3) on their stronghold, story completition, alts, and more.
I think the OP didnt researched a lot about the game and just took some video from some random dude on youtube (loads of sale hate for profit videos out there on every topic ) and joined the game thinking he will max out T3 +18 or so. Just lol… it’s ppl who never played who have the wrong expectation.
The problems are the queues, man. THE QUEUES…
Any MULTIPLAYER game these days is “pay to win” then. Only games that aren’t are SINGLEPLAYER because you literally have nobody else to compete against.
Even real life is pay to win, it’s even worse.
