Stop nerfing content

Ah yes, calling other players kids makes you look so mature.

Well done, enjoy your watered down wine.

Perhaps this just isnt the game for you?

HOW is sitting there beating a boss to death for 30 min FUN ?

Those are some weighty and arrogant assumptions my boy.

Even T3 is ridiculously easy atm

But a dude literally debunked the guardian hp increase. @AGS Please, revert the Guardian raids 50% more hp change! Reason inside! - #281 by Miriey

If you give up on a game because you can’t swoop it at first try i can’t help you. Failing is part of games, maybe minigolf is an option. I still fail Achates, even though i know how it works, the last thing i’d do is bitching on the forum about it, i just aim to get better.

Plus, I didn’t play either of these games. Going to level 50 is done in seconds in this game too. There were hard dungeons in WoW, were they not?

Tell me you are a gatekeeper without telling me you keep gates.

Even T3 is easy now if you know what destruction, stagger, counters and grenades do. Problem is, even with the buffed T1 and T2 the game does not teach you and you can bruteforce a lot of the fights.

T3 match making will be a nightmare for many, many weeks to come because AGS makes it easier for people who are braindead to ruin it for everyone else.

you dont even get 30 minutes to clear the boss… If you can’t devote 10 minutes to a boss kill, 15 max, then uninstall

Yeah people today are so used to getting everything handed to them on a silver platter, its crazy they give up and leave the party after 1 wipe or start flaming everyone when they are the ones who ignore mechanincs and die. These people should just play autobattler mobile games or something.

this is daily farm , not end game, n00b

So when people hit a hard wall in T3 as they don’t know any mechanics because they went through nerfed content meant to teach them, what’s going to happen? They’re going to cry and T3 is going to turn into just showing up for attendance rewards too, right? I liked that Lost Ark had some challenge to it, was fun working up through the T1/T2 content. Don’t kill the game.

Yeah except it’s only farm when it’s farm. For some it’s progression and they enjoy the challenge.

No it’s not dude - guardian and abyss dungeons are just daily and weekly gold + mats farm respectively. To be efficient you have to do them on all alts daily.
In EU/KR Guardians were overbuffed by having 50% more HP and taking 10+ minutes while you can do them in 5-6 on ilvl in KR/RU and 2-3m above ilvl - while here it takes 5-6m average on ilvl - They are meant to be spammed/farmed on alts and not to take half your day doing them.

Statistics are okay but it’s just, a statistic.

Statistics don’t include the very reasons why a number is that number.

Okay, 10% clear. But what are the factors that lead to that 10%? Just to list a few:

-The game has only been out in the west since the 8th Feb (11th officially), less than a month.

-The matchmaking experience is miserable and toxic as hell.

-There’s people literally quitting after one wipe and don’t bother to keep trying.

There’s some people that don’t even want to put in the effort to achieve something, they want things instantly given to them. Gratification for something that they didn’t earn so they can say that they earned it.

It’s not about making things achievable, there’s having the option to achieve it and then there’s completely numbing the game down so much that anyone at all can clear it. Then what do you actually even achieve? A clear? Or something literally anyone can clear?

Anything at all even remotely challenging will have people rant constantly until they can clear it with their eyes closed, it won’t stop at this, legion raids will come to west and the exact same thing will happen only much worse, then onto the next thing and the next. It will be like that until the game is so easy that no one would want to play it, it will lose the sense of value in actually clearing content, ultimately devaluing it. That content won’t stand out as much if it was just easy to push through so why mention it etc.

Different game I know but FFXIV has endgame content, savage ultimate tea P1S P2S P3S etc, there’s a barrier to entry to clearing those. Anyone can clear them they just have to put in the time and effort to improve and learn to clear it, and that is rewarding . They don’t nerf that content to the ground at all, it’s there and it’s something people can strive to clear and because of that the value of actually clearing it has never been lowered.

Some of those ranting don’t want it to be rewarding nor “achieveable” (when it already is) they want it so easy that they don’t have to put in time to learn it, they don’t actually care about content being hard or not, it’s just that they feel bad about themselves in some way because they aren’t able to clear it and so instead of wanting to change and improve at the game themselves they want the game to change and become easier so they can clear it without putting in the time/effort that it actually takes. It’s wanting to have something someone else that put effort/time into has without doing the same to achieve it.

Completely different game (again I know), Dead by Daylight has a perk called ruin, it’s a perk that killers can use to slowdown generators through certain ways. Quite a while ago the perk was nerfed, the developers revealed a statistic showing that ruin was used around 50%+ and they saw it as the perk being overpowered because well, everyone seems to be using it right? But they never actually looked at the reason why it was used so much, it was actually used as a plaster fix to deal with an issue the game had/has. Completely different game but the whole point is the statistic and how the statistic is perceived, what makes that number that number. It’s not so black and white.

I understand the whole business standpoint too, if the game is easy to play and the barrier to entry is lower more people will play, more likely to purchase skins and spend money etc, I get that which is probably the incentive to nerf content not only because of the 10% clear rate.

Instead of nerfing content for every single player, have separate difficulty tiers like how FFXIV has base versions then you have harder versions that have more mechanics etc. You appeal to the lesser experienced players whilst also keeping the challenging content the exact same for those that want the harder content

Don’t just nuke anything challenging completely because a loud minority that rage quits after one measly wipe or doesn’t bother learning the fight

I duo’d almost every single guardian at minimum ilevel. The only one that I had to outgear a bit was tytalos. Doing them all at minimum ilevel was super fun and the most enjoyable content I have experienced in the game so far. The fact that some people being terrible at video games is ruining this fun for everyone is just sad. Most of these bosses being nerfed only took about 9 minutes to kill. Especially alberhastic. Why is that one being nerfed? He’s already so squishy. Such a lame decision by amazon.

guardian raids don’t teach you anything at all - raid mechanics are way different - they are similar to abyss dungeons which are obscure in some regards and also a single mistake is an instant wipe. So people will wipe regardless once legion raids come out
