Stop nerfing content

Stats don’t mean everything, hell it could be inflated from bots attempting to set up an AI to auto clear the raid. And even if it isn’t, the challenge from these raids are going to be what keeps long term players logging in everyday, take away the challenge, take away your playerbase.

Like screw these hype train riders, whether you leave the content or nerf the content they are gonna leave after 2-3 months regardless, so why screw over those that genuinely love the game for what it is just for a short term playerbase retention.

Also using statistics like ‘Only 10% of players have killed x’ is just stupid when over 50% of the playerbase are bots.

I wonder how many people failing/complaining are using grudge/cursed doll in t1/t2… using either engraving before t3 and especially at < level 3 is giant trolls. There are no real dps checks in the game right now and most wipe mechanics have zero to do with damage or are stagger checks.

I’m sorry but this game is supposed to be challenging, nerfing content because some people can’t learn mechanics is sad, AGS already did a bad job with new world and we know what happened, don’t do this to LA please let people get good and ignore the cry babies

LMAO ACCURATE. They need to get some real data scientists if they’re trying to use “statistics” to gauge difficulty of content.

So… why even need support class if nerfing everything… this is so dumb… it is actually funny … this is the worst news after the fact that amazon will do NOTHING about improving server capacity or matchmaking for euc… this will even worsen things why cant you see that? if that difficulty is already too high we had the perfect noob filter in place to stabilize the servers if they would hit certain content… and now see the hardcore players go back to korea … Congrats on ruining another potential hit game cough nw

why alrdy nerf raid amazone EU/NA player are not that bad they are just learning , why would we get differents version than kr/jp/ru normal content are alrdy enought easy by out ilvl it and dont deserve any more nerf and if people cant really deal with it they should just go back playing an other game at this point .

the only issue i see is like everyone is on the rush and lot of people dont take time for learn anything + i would say server stability dont help most people to make party finder group where you can more traget a specifics players for learn a raid or just go with exp players

first week most abyss were a big mess but after 1,2 week u can alrdy see everyone improve a lot that the way you play lost ark and any mmorpg i guess not by nerfing every content

Lost Ark doesn’t even have one month since release in NA/EU and people is already crying not wanting to get better, they should just not play, the only possible way i could accept this is if you make an ‘easier mode’ keeping the OG difficulty and just putting a baby steps for the people who don’t want to be better and of course make the rewards way less

Maybe it would be wise to ask for clarification from Amazon as to what these nerfs really are before bashing Smilegate for the decision and before bashing the part of the community that has trouble with abyss and guardian raids. As for me, I just finished Gate of Paradise today with my lovely group. So I am fine, I don’t care! This content can be cleared given the time, persistence and patience. Anyway, let’s calm down and urge @Roxx to offer us more details if and when she has them.

Remember that they buffed raids due to closed beta feedback. Amazon is likely just going to revert these buffs.

This is disappointing, when I see all the people that rush through the game instead of enjoying the actual game and arrive T3 we out ever trying to understand any of the mechanics from T1 and T2 Boss you end with people ilvl 1302 that doesn’t know how to beat Armored Nacrasena when they should have done Nacrasena long ago.
If you nerf T1 and T2 content for like a very few amounts of people that doesn’t want to even try to understand the game, we will end up with T3 players ignoring all mechanics and making end game toxic…

and you have to play with these type people when you use MM that’s the sad part. Don’t get me wrong i’m not against people who doesn’t know mechanics 1st timers or blindly doing it . I’m puging since launch and i have no issue , did i get newbies yea , did i try couple times yea , did i do mistakes yea , i just talked with them and say what to do or they did and i learnt what did do wrong and we good that’s it . It’s the nature of these type of games . You should struggle learn and do it

You say there are some cases where less than 10% of people completed the raid… that is totally normal! The game has been out just for 3 weeks! Let the people some time to learn how to play and learn. Don’t nerf anything please

If you want, put a “learn” difficulty with less rewards, but not touch current

The only thing you may touch is the health of guardians, but because is tedious, not difficult.

Leave the Difficult as it is, the difficult is perfect. Thats why i choosed this game. I want to “work” and learn for a victory. thats why i love souls games.

i dont want to get back to the RU version just because you (AGS) decide how a game should be, regardless if its already popular as it is for years.

PLEASE DO NOT NERF THE GAME!! I love this game and the challenges… if you guys go this route you’ll just be another dying mmo. None of the guardians were impossible, we kept trying and learning more and more and we finally beat it and it was awesome! PLEASE, I BEG YOU, this game is awesome because of the challenges, if it is turns into a casual mmo like Guild Wars you will lose the people that care about the game the most. Thank you for your hard work, this game is amazing!

Please stop nerfing content…its insane how ppl can actually complain about this when you have guides(videos) on each and every one of them…Please do not nerf anything about dungeons and raids!

Furthermore, a lot of this perceived difficulty stems from the fact you released T3 at launch. You told the playerbase to rush ahead and get to the furthest checkpoint. 3-4 years of content dumped on people immediately. New players feel like they need to catch up and play with the people who are zooming off ahead, so when they reach any obstacle or any point of needed learning, it’s frustrating for them. How about you be more responsible and not do a T3 release launch, and actually give people a chance to adjust to the difficulty of the game, how to properly understand their consumables and why they’re needed, how to properly understand their toolkits and how to apply destruction/stagger when necessary… A poorly planned launch begets poorly planned balance updates. Who would have thought?

Please do not do this it’s an awful idea

To be fair, ppl always call Lost Ark a marathon and all and alright then stand by it. Some people struggle clearing things instantly, that’s fine then they gotta get into it and WILL clear it eventually since most content is already easy if not too easy.
A big chunk of people looked forward to Lost Ark for many different reasons, one being that it’s not just telegraphed or as easy as other games - people not clearing the Abyss Dungeons or Guardians which is something considerably close to “endgame of a conten Tier” is pretty much how it should be. Some challenges are healthy - and I don’t want to sound rude or mean towards other players by any means, but a game where everyone can complete everything right away without issues would be boring, struggle and improvement is part of the whole thing and gives people a good feeling after finally beating it.
