Dude, they did not touch current tier content, plus none of the hard content has been released yet. what are you whining about?
T1 and T2 are deprecated content since they launched directly on T3. I would have prefered to have at least 2-3 months of only T1 followed by another 2 months of only T2, before T3 even got released here, but, since they released in T3, T1 and T2 should had been trivialized or directly ignored.
In fact, I hope that T1 and T2 honing get changed (to what smilegate wanted for us), even though I have already done most of that myself. And yes, I have T3 main and 5 T2 alts getting into T3…and I totally understand their move. T1 and T2 are bad designed content, as Smilegate admited. T3 is where the game begins anyway. If you want hard content, wait till they release the clown… or go check it in KR servers like some of us have done.
Also, face it, every single raid in KR was nerfect again and again after a couple weeks of their release, as soon as top end guilds killed those bosses, they got the nerf bat. Expect that here… multiplied by 7.
You missed my point, the content before the nerfs was already easy, the hardest part was people being too lazy to check a 5 min guide before joinning a group. If the content is too easy to make even with low geared alts then whats the point of doing them in the first place, it becomes just boring forced dailies.
Meh, I couldn’t give a rats backside what happens, I’m not even there yet so nerf or not doesn’t change my perception of how difficult the “nerfed” content is or not as I’ve not ever been there before. shrugs Just like my witch on Black Desert, do I give a turd what happens to content I already LONG past? why are people who clearly are past that point so upset about stuff they will only ever do on an alt which at that point is irrelevant. Whatever, I’m surprised most of these denizens are even able to work a keyboard properly. Once they touch your current content which there’s no evidence of that thus far that they will … then you all have some sort of platform to stand on.
I did not miss the point. The fact is that it is outdated content from previous tiers, that should be piss easy to go through as fast as possible. The goal is that all the playerbase reach the current content (t3 in our case) asap, not that they learn the game the hard way on vanilla or succesive already outdated expansions. Just a quick note to you, you can learn the core mechanics of the game in T3 instead of getting frustrated in T1 and T2 like most people do.
If you think this is a huge nerf for wertern version, come play in KR, where u get a 40% dmg reduction in all content except the latest patch… yes, that means raiding with that big blessing, because, you know, you can learn the same way without wiping, its actually less frustrating for newcomers.
The sooner people realise that what we have now and what we will get in the next few months is outdated content, the better. Their goal is to match all regions. Dont worry, if you want hard content, wait till that happens. I can tell you by experience that wiping hundred of times because noone knows what and when happens is normal for a couple weeks. The learning curve in his game (pve-wise) is 10 times harder than WoW, at least in my experience. You and many others are way too used to reading guides and watching videos. Its gonna be fun when NA/EU catch up…
Indeed however anyone thinking the content was not going to nerfed was being unrealistict and a lot silly considering how they went about it in KR.
Here some things, they made some content here in NA harder than it was in KR originally to slow peeps down a little, they are remoing that buff and will likely see more nerf later on as new content comes out.
Be funny if/when they add the KR current 40% dmg reduction…lmao
Yeah but i can say one thing for sure, they will NEVER nerf ENDGAME content, they will keep nerfing old content as a catch up mechanic. Also about the “mokoko” buff ppl will go nuts if they implement it here lmao.
Stop being so concerned that bosses you likely already killed are being toned down a little for the general masses.
Either way these same players are going to hit a wall before long and quit, but SmileGate might be able to milk a little more FOMO cash out of them first. That’s the whole purpose to the changes, allow for more players to progress a little bit further, perhaps make some cash shop purchases then quit when the next thing gets in the way.
I agree with what your saying, most people are basing everything around KR vs NA where the game existed for years vs. 1 month.
I’ll be the first to admit some of the bosses early on in T1 when you are running pug clears on your alts were super annoying with the lack of communication within the group. Even today I got to wipe 5 times on an alt in Necromancer simply because nobody would click the orbs and they kept running from stagger. The nerfs still don’t save the bads from being bad.
I swear Matchmaking right now is the cream of the crop, and possibly even filled with Bots in T1.
Another huge point of feedback that we received during the Closed Beta Test was that many players felt like some of the game’s pacing and gearing was not quite challenging enough. We’ve worked to make balance changes to combat this, and while it won’t slow you down early on, the endgame content will prove to be a bit more challenging for players.
That’s not necessarily a confirmation that HP was indeed increased!! it could mean anything… tighter counter timers, more attack speed or power to guardians, etc
edit: An I hope that this is the case, otherwise AGS will come up as the worst game dev (like the ones that think “more challenging = bullet sponge” type of developer)
But asking genuinely, that path note is from Jan, how come this user came up with similar HP (around 14M)… with test done like a week ago
