Store still not working - SOLVED - Steam overlay required

Unable to purchase aura and anything else.

Nothing happens when you click buy.

I would like to thank you for contact us in regard the not working store. I’m sorry for this situation.

The Steam overlay feature must be activated, please try the following:

’ Run Steam as Administrator
’ Turn on Steam overlay
’ Verify integrity of game files through steam Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files

After the step above:

  • Shut down the computer completely. Turn it on, then run the Steam client as administrator and try the game again.

If you still have the issue after this troubleshoot, please create a web ticket by going to Contact Us | Amazon Games

Please provide all the information requested on the web ticket form as well character name, server and world name you are and the link for this post.

Ok thanks for the very quick reply, all I had to do was enable steam overlay. I was not aware of this being required to use the in game store and have not seen it mentioned anywhere???

I am pretty sure the majority of people are not aware of this? Or am I just noob?

I then had to transfer funds to my steam wallet as for some reason it would not allow me to pay with direct money via card or paypal. Is this normal?

Thanks again for helping me solve this, all I wanted was 30 day aura lol.

Please pass as feedback the in game store multiple opening and closing windows, plus steam overlay required, plus having to transfer funds to steam wallet via card and paypal with more windows and then back again to actually purchase anything…

Is a very clunky awkward experience for the player end and not very smooth. Also I am pretty sure there huge huge lack of information around the store especially regarding the steam overlay requirement.

Kinda something they might want to address when asking people for money but then not allowing them to give it to you or having a very jagged unsmooth process.

Again many thanks for fast response and resolving my issue, I will try to pass the info on to people with similar store issues.
