I spent 5hrs today trying to get in the cave where you have to kill all the bats and slime. I think mine is bugged out due to I make sure i sepnd 2hrs half and half of the dungeon. 100% I never miss a single mob but the place where the mokoko seed is still locked. HELP please! this is my last mokoko on the continent.
I confirm this bug, spent 1 hour for it as well killing everything and verifying twice but the barrier is still locked and cannot be destroyed.
Same happened with another dungeon where you don’t have to touch a single civilian, you cannot access the 3 mokokos either.

make sure to run this with full party, sometimes random slime spawns. I completed the run with 3 others on discord and we just kept patrolling around the map and found slimes and bats that we were for sure cleared the first time.
You can succeed at it, that’s all I know.
Wife and I did it successfully last night
Yeah I did it today was my 2nd try be sure to go all the way to the lever just before boss but do not pull lever, there is a slime close to the lever area. I also noticed there was a slime I missed somehow in an area before zipline went back to check area after clearing it and there he was a single slime which I’m sure he spawned after I cleared it.
I don’t know yet for the slime and bat mokoko seeds, but for the civilian it can be done (did it this morning)
This is the mokoko seed that made me just stop caring about finding them myself and started just looking at a map. There’s literally no way anyone in their right mind would stumble across this secret. There are so many different paths with absolutely nothing but a couple of slimes or moths at the end of them. Then after killing them all, you get no notification or indication that you’ve unlocked anything. Just a random spot halfway through the dungeon some boxes disappear. The pathway through is still hidden and not on the map.
Anyways, yes, it can be done. Make sure you’re sweeping back and forth as you progress. You have to kill every single one of them. Even the ones that fly off screen and you think disappeared (they didn’t). Kill them as soon as you see them. Go down every dead end, every nook, all the way to the lever, then backtrack halfway through the dungeon to the secret entrance. Takes forever.
After running back and forth several times, I found the last slime hidden under the final ramp just before the lever to the boss room.
Took me like 3 attempts, more than an hour total.
Pro tip: use forced 21:9 aspect ratio.
Can confirm having the same difficulty/experience with both of these Dungeons.
I have delicately examined each instance and the final gates do not open.
Perhaps running as a group would make a difference, however, as a solo player - the mechanism seems non-responsive.
