I notice that some deathblades wait for the opposite team to come and attack. Mostly while they are waiting in front of their base.
I just had a match where the blade caused some confusion because she pointed “in” our base to wait. I as bard didnt wait, so didnt the sorc, but it didnt help, we died anyway in this confusion.
Why would I let myself get cornered right from the begining?
I can imagine why the deathblade wanted to wait to do their monlight sonic, but is this the right strategy?
What should I do the next time when a blade is not going to move but waiting at least in front of the base. I am not sure what my job as bard would be.
So whats the overall strategy behind it? Apart from that I will never ever remain in the base.
Thanks for your explanations and recommendations what the blades intention could be and how I could assist with this strategy.
Cheers.
Edit: Maybe also her awakending? Cause its just a line? Sometimes its pretty wasted I guess to get just one player into it.
Dont know whats so funny, but by this strategy they dont. Only when “they” attack, and arent wating. So it must be another strategy. Thanks for fact oriented help.
Could have been so much I don’t know where to start. For example did ur enemy team had a sharpshooter? If ur on lower ranking (bronze to gold) they tend to sprint invisible into the mid and Try to snipe someone ur save in the starting area the first 8 seconds or so.
Maybe the dB player wanted u to fight in the fire? As bard ur able to heal and shield and the mage and DB both have some good aoe? Maybe the dB wanted to waste her awakening or ur time? It’s hard with this little info to read the mind of a random dB u meet in the arena
lol no the fire hasnt started then. ^^
Well I ve been seen them waiting to waste the skills to attack then, but waiting “in” the base instead infront of it was new. But still, waiting in front is very dangerous as you get cornered very easily.
Dont know. Any blade players who do this “waiting” strategy?
It could just be an attempt at aoe cheesing or your DB saw some abilities go up and wanted to wait them out like Artillerist shield/cc immunity (Energy Field).
cheesing = teasing = pulling skills?
Unfortunately I cant remember the comp. But I ve seen a similar strategy with the arti.
Though I find it still risky to stay in front of the base.
Anyway thank you very much for your assistance. Seems that just a minority is still playing.
I play SF so I don’t know about DB strat exactly, but I also ask my team to stay back a little. It gives me the opportunity to quickly identify the weak link in the ennemy team and run him down.
