EDIT 2 - Yea, most people don’t read and has zero text interpretation.
This isn’t a “Lost ark bad, Immortal good” topic.
I want to suggest the addition of WASD in Lost Ark because it’s a better experience. I said WASD, I’m not comparing the games as a whole.

EDIT> It’s impressive how some of you assume that I’m talking about Immortal as a whole. NO, I’M TALKING ABOUT THE WASD MOVEMENT SYSTEM, I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT THAT GAME, PLEASE LEARN TEXT INTERPRETATION.
No, I won’t play Immortal because that is heavy p2w trash.
And Yes, I want Lost Ark to implement WASD as an option for those who wants it and guess what?? YOU may like it.

It’s free, go see for yourself.
Moving your character with WASD and the skills are aimed at your cursor.
In Lost Ark the skills on a controller are aimed where your characters facing.
That’s a HUGE difference. Aiming at your cursor while moving with WASD makes kiting 100x better, makes movement and dodging way better.

As I said, go check for yourself, it’s free.
Don’t tell me “The devs intended the game to be played with mouse”, all I’m gonna say is go play Immortal for literally 2 minutes just to see the WASD movement and skills usage.

But it also only has 4 skills and the range classes just auto target the mobs with their auto-attack.

bosses are just brain dead dumb and not a challenge either.
How do I know this? There is no dodge mechanic in immortal…think about that
So of course it’s “easier” to kite in immortal when you don’t even need to dodge.

the bosses in Lost Ark has many times more movement and mechs

you can kite with mouse movement no problem idk what you’re talking about, and lost ark skills are mostly also fired in the direction of your mouse as well

If you like immortal go play it.

And for the record there’s a cursor aim option in the settings that will attack towards your cursor as long as it is aimed at a target.

Funny how people are preaching how good Diablo Immortal. Literally one of the most heaviest p2w game i ever played and also literally one of the worse Blizzard game ever release after Diablo 3. You can literally will never get past a point without paying in Diablo Immortal. I laughed at the pre-post about diablo immortal releasing and this game is gonna die.

No, the game is bad but the WASD is good.
Why do you assume I was talking about the game as a whole? I only said WASD system, that’s all.

As far as aiming goes. Gameplay → Controls and Display → Cursor Aim, check.

Regarding movement. I was a big WASD player and never played games where you have to move with the mouse, however, after playing lost ark, i dont mind it much at all any more

I haven’t played Diablo Immortal because I’m not a masochist, but I’ve played enough WASD games to know that it’s “fine”, but not really better for this kind of game.
