Influx of artists or other hyper express sups caused severe competition in legion raids.
I even had a bit of chuckle when recently invited DPS immediately asked me to invite his support friend.
Obviously I kicked him when I saw his little loli didn’t have yearning set.
Absolutely shameless, especially when we’re doing brel, not some pre-1475 gold nerfed content.
So guys, what kind of support do you gatekeep and why is it newly released class kappa?
I would be carefull m8. Currently the Artist has free engravings so there is zero investment into it. We will see in few weeks if players will actually invest in the class.
I’m very happy for you DPS guys and hope it will last. Also gives players that are used to play just Sups to change it up and play dps.
Have 4 Supports Gold roster since several month
got gatekept exactly a few minutes , than started my own parties , switched to my Dps gear , was inviting 2 ayays ( cause they pay greatfull for the auction boxes ) and filled that groups with dps
all oneshots exept clown g3 , someone failed a mario once .
you could also make titles like , Ayaya welcome if buy box 3000g
you will find pretty fast dps who like that extra gold , like a semi bus
also alot of new characters just switch for free to 4x3 dps build
It doesn’t work that well in PUG. Even if you are LoS 18, 5x3, 7lvl gems, 1530+ and apply to a Valtan HM lobby with a few ~1450 ilvl, you will be passed for a 1460 DPS. Story based on facts.
On the other hand DPS classes can just go full DPS while 1530 and clear it with no issues at all.
wait 2-3 weeks an people will accept support dps classes frequently, htey just dont know the potential of most bard/paladin/artist dps with the change of that patch
also before was never a reason why to take a support dps class

and like i said, just make your own group it worked fine
also my 1500 4x3 dps bards do 5 million dps on trixion 2 minute fight
my 1570 bard does almost 9 million dps
sure its not great , but its enough for the current content
make your own group , take a propper title… all fine
people take rather a support dps than waiting 30 minutes for some extra dmg

Also you’ll be begging for support mains on every new content ahead. You hold no power.
Right now in KR most people still can’t play new abyss dungs because they can’t find supps. I don’t think supp union cares how you gatekeep lopang alts on vykas.
people forget the problem isn’t artist only; but the gold nerf which pushed all sups parked before < 1460 to push to 1460 & now it’s all flooded
support below 1475 , were never made to play actively, they were made to invest almost nothing and then milk them for gold/mats
same what AGS / SG does with us

Closing this topic as it was very clearly started with the intention of being inflammatory towards others. Yes, there are a lot of supports and Artists in the game right now. People are excited to play the new class and are coming back to the game for it. They won’t be 100% geared right away, but truly, y’all should be EXCITED that people are eager to get into Lost Ark and experience the game that you all play so much. I will never understand why some folks want to gatekeep the thing they love from others – this is an MMO, a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER online game, and you should be excited to share it with those who are excited to play.
