I don’t want them to be worried about nothing else than what they think is important. The reason why I commented is because you sounded like it is a huge problem to implement a dozen of skins in the game that needs time to be solved. All they have to do is just make the price lower and remove RNG, removing RNG means you can just directly pay for the skin and get it guaranteed, whether that is gold or real money or both. This is not a problem, this is very simple. By the way, one of the major reasons why they even became worried about RNG jar is because of the problems with lootboxes, recent launch in Netherlands opened the eyes of many people on this. The reason why it is taking so much time is not because they are developing a strategy of making money. The reason is because they are developing a strategy of making AS MUCH MONEY as possible, which is obviously good only for their wallets, not ours. Time heals any wounds, they made a loud statement about “removing Pay-To-Win from the game” to make fanboys even more proud, it eased their problems with Netherlands and then a few months later when the hype about these skins is over they are going to become available for 200$, and there won’t be too much buzz about it because it is already an outdated topic and, to be honest, the damage increase is really really small.
We didn’t get anything on Vykas patch till like 3 days before either. Just classic AGS.
july update will probably be an august update and so on. if their june update got pushed to the last day i cant see them taking only 2 weeks for the next update
@Roxx @Shadow_Fox I’m not a big brain like some people, but I have been stewing on possible options/possible ways for the legendary skins to be obtained outside of irl monetary means. Hear me out, also, thread runners, gimme your thoughts. The skins most of us want that were in Yoz’s Jar are the legendary ones, right? Why not pass on the thought, that to obtain those legendary skins, tie it in with completion of Inferno difficulty Legion raids? The skins were already wanted by a vast majority of the community, and not a lot of people normally would have been bothered to try inferno mode, let alone a deathless run, yes, you get a snazzy title, and a gnarly statue for your stronghold…but what if, by defeating inferno mode, not necessarily a deathless run, although the variant version of the legendary skin could be the reward for a deathless run, we can strive to actually want to do that type of content? Idk, my thought process is pretty simple. I had/have no desire to do inferno cause of how bloody sweaty it is, but if the legendary skins were tied to completion IE if we just beat inferno, we get one version of the legendary skin, but if we go even further, we get the variant, hell, even both legendary skins, for that character alone. Not only would this provide the community with something to get them engaged with some of the most difficult content, but we’d be greatly rewarded on our characters for doing so. I know as CM’s you guys are just the bridge between players and dev’s and what the dev’s can and can’t do is largely decided by the team at SG, but I think this is definitely something that can be looked into, at the very least mentioned. I mean a title and a statue are cool…but being rewarded with the rarest skins in the game for completing content that really requires teamwork and communication…I think that’s worth mentioning. MMO’s are supposed to get people engaged with each other to conquer really hard content, and this just might be the solution. Thoughts???
Getting the june update late does not in fact mean we’re okay with the july one being late aswell.
Haha. Man, the problem is the people complaining don’t actually care about the 1% damage increase. What they were secretly upset with was the idea that someone could have a nice skin that they won’t see for a month or so. From my experience on JP, the Inferno modes are going to be cleared by an incredibly small percentage of the population.
tl;dr
There would be an ocean of tears from the same people complaining about the Jar.
Their data clearly states less communication and more being left in the dark = bigger revenues when presented with news once we already have torches and pitchforks in hand
Not really, but with that being said in your example the company is losing money by paying their employees more where as releasing these skins make them money, so I fail to see how this thought experiment makes any sense.
I’m still wondering if the July patch will be the 20th or the 27th…
we all know we getting that patch on the very last week xc
July 27 the new update ![]()
I completely understand where you’re coming from, but as I said in my post, if this was something they implemented, more people would be inclined to actually try and overcome it for the skins. But I digress.
It would be much more of an effort than grinding an hour or so each day to get enough gold to buy chests/fabric or the skins. Pretty much impossible to some. Gold, anyone can get.
torches and pitchforks mean emotional investment. People want to feel something, anything really. That’s why soap operas exists ![]()
They may try, but many would not be able to beat it. It’s quite difficult and I see people complaining about normal Vykas around here. The outrage over Legendary skins, which are available to everyone in other regions, being gated behind content less than 5% of players can complete would be immense.
That was my main concern as well, but at the very least, it’s something compared to the nothing we’ve been given. ![]()
and roxx shall read this wall of text?

I wouldn’t doubt that her, fox, and the other CM’s have to go through the forums and manage them, in every manner. So yeah, she very may well end up reading this.
What company do you work for that says something like this and why are you still working there?
this is incredibly common in privately owned businesses. Generally the upper management occupy 50% or more of the wages and the other 50% is split amongst the work force.
You have
