One hundred percent troll
They decided to not make millions off whales with Legendary Skin lootboxes…instead they releasing old, mediocre skins…they wont make even 1% of what they couldve made. Worst part is the whales and people who were willing to spend thousands on the skins and the game are slowly leaving and playing something else.
Business intelligence, a greedy company not being greedy when the profits wouldve been huge. They really expected 300k+ players will wait and wait and wait until 2024 for the best skins and content from KR. Their best profit window was the first 3 months of launch but released 1 skin a month, no new mounts, pets, weapon skins etc.

Are you new here or something? You’ll find out 12 hours before mid July that the patch is being pushed back to July 31st, prease understand, 2 feathers and 10k silver coins as compensation, then you’ll have the two ugliest, non-dyable skins still left in the treasure trove of eternally drip-fed content to choose from with your hard earned American Buckaroonies.
Now, stop complaining and get back to the slave pens, I mean chaos dungeons and grind your chores peasant. You don’t want to be ill-prepared for the new item level check, do you? Is the FOMO not working on you???

As far as Legendary Skins go, this topic isn’t intentionally being avoided, but unfortunately we don’t have any new updates about when those skins may come to the game; it will likely take some time before this topic is revisited.

@Roxx please tell AGS to make video trailers and advertisements for incoming patchs and events. KR does it, JP does it, RU does it, only NA/EU doesn’t and this is embarrassing. You guys need to step up your advertisement game.

I mean, based on past experience, we won’t get a date until about a week before the update. So, if we don’t hear anything by the end of next week, we can safely assume the update is going to be the 27th or in August.

Yeah, KR gets tons of advertisements, news, etc. Here they just wait until the last day to announce something or instead we get “mid july’d” messing everyone’s schedule with still no news. They are so confident that the game is decent, so they invest as little as possible in advertisement. Nice hype marketing btw.

Yo make sure to read this @Chetsu post post because this is literally exactly the major problems with the game right now. + Give newer players express characters and power passes so they can actually play the good content (legion raids) and give people a honing buff so its easier to retain players. Most people who play the game every day are 1415+. That takes 2-4+ months of progression to catch up to their friends when all the tier 1-2 content is solved or just oneshot by people doing card runs and buying mats off bots from the auction house. Early tier 3 is just afk doing 2 CD + Guardian raids every day with no interesting content until 1340 (The second abyss dungeon) and 1370 (Argos). People will fail so many hones before that point and some might even quit. However when they get to Valtan they have a fun and interesting RAID weekly content to do.
This mentality of “Don’t worry we fixed these problems! Just wait 28 days and we’ll have SOME fixes for the problems!” isn’t enough for the players. You lost so many people releasing the express event on the 20th, IF EVEN THEN it comes out its just way too late. Talk about the issues and be more open with the community. You lose so many players waiting this long to talk about the fixes with the community till a week before the patch.
Let people play the game. Everyone I know is 1460+ but that is not the average player. We have 1300+ hours on the game already. Just give out at least one free character to people thats really easy to get to 1430 which is Valtan. Give people summer skins. Give people roadmaps longer than 2 months so they can actually plan around the class release schedule (big deal for people whos main is not out yet). Please give people more information and communicate even small details about updates on official platforms not just the forums or these little teasers a week before the patch. Stop releasing things last second, it does’t matter if something you announce is delayed at least we know its coming (100% better). Finally, MARKET AND ADVERTISE THE GAME PLEASE PLEASE ADVERTISE AND MARKET THE GAME HARDER.
That’s it. That is all you have to do to increase the player count and make the player base happy. People want to play the game, you just aren’t letting them. You are actively killing Lost Ark by giving infrequent updates and marketing the game insanely poorly. People are moving on and forgetting about the game, player count is down, views are down across all YouTube content about lost ark in the western audience, views are down on Twitch.
Listen. I and we know you can only do so much, and none of this is your fault- and some of it is not even in your control, but please please try to get this across to the Lost Ark developers and don’t stop until it changes. The handling of this game is so terrible, and it could be so much better and so much more popular. So much potential is lost in the lack of these things. Why does the player base know the core problems but AGS does not?

Give people summer skins. Or better skins in general, last skin line flopped- and remember people have an issue mainly with the quality and frequency of the skins. This last skin update was sooooo bad. There are so many better skins to choose from.

They can add them to the cash shop as a bundle (like any other skin that has 3 or 4 pieces including weapon), so people can directly buy them. I don’t think that’s too hard to do.
Sadly, that’s the state we have Lost Ark in Western.
A game that NEVER will reach the full capabilities of KR because you prefer remove an important part of the game to just support a specific region with childhood laws for adults.
Like you did with some classes, you should rename the game too.
It’s not Lost Ark as RU/JP/KR knows.

Its gambling, its not an important mechanic, the problem is they acted on its removal without first having a solution, even a temporary one.
Tho i do agree they are doing unnecessery changes nobody asked about.
We are getting shows like the Boys world wide and uncensored but with a game like this we cant have it the way it was meant to be lol

no other regions had problems with legendary skins. I don’t get why you guys had to listen to whiners in the forum and their feedbacks to not have it in NA and have to wait for it without any release plan
