It was the perfect demonstration: even when you’re a top streamer funneled by hundreds/thousands of people, you suffer after 1340. So for the regular players spending 2/4 hours a day, it’s just a huge paywall.

He’s also making these videos for views. He doesnt really care what happens to the game. If it fails, he’ll just go back to WoW or FFXIV.
He did this to check a box and say “I defended the free2play players! I am their champion!”

Nothing. There is no difference. If youre not gathering resources yourself, and receiving thousands of hand outs from your groupies, youre no better if not worse than a P2W player. At least pay 2 win players are putting money into the game.

Sywo is really cool. I really admire his enthusiasm. I always enjoy his videos.
And this is why people should check the mirror before posting. If you werent so keen to argue , or took a brief moment to digest anything that you didnt immediately get hard about, you’d realise that 'he" can only be Asmon, not Sywo.
Either way your beloved Sywo isnt your friend, he’s a businessman, using you to make money. By all means have an opinion on what he says, but take your tongue out of his ass first.

The best point in this video goes to Sywo. The game should have both F2P and Whales at the same point before the next content patch drops and players enter the new raid. By creating the huge IL and Tier2 to Tier 3 rift between players and content it creates the P2W atmosphere that they never intended the game to have. This is a road map metric mistake that AGS will need to address sooner than later. I agree with both asmon and Sywo on this topic of current content with the new Argos boss

The biggest issue with the content drop from only 30 days of release is the pace. Not enough time for players to prepare for the new content and everyone be able to walk in the door at the same time. Instead of everyone walking through the door at once, it ended up being a VIP line up for those who whaled or played 15hrs a day since release.

If we adjust materials gathered and honing rate success chance, we can help negate the content drop. Either that, or pump the breaks on content to come so people can enjoy the game for all of its content rather than using every side activity to funnel into Gear Score. By having players conduct side content not for the joy of doing so, but for funneling materials into their mains, it creates a vacuum for hard grinding rather than a reasonable grind that everyone can endure for the pleasure of playing all content. Now it’s like a race for those who wish to experience the newest content or else be left behind with a extremely manipulated in game market focused on supporting whales or F2P 24/7 players.

Every streamer is a joke, they care about their profits period, not you, not the game you like, only about how many times you smash that donate button.
I have NO IDEA why anyone would want to watch someone else play video games, hey you hungry? No im good, im just going to watch this guy eat instead.

Imagine you’re a content creator for a game you love and it comes to your area.
Now suddenly the game is a pile of sh. due to bad decisionmaking.
He isn’t Asmongold that he can just throw out how bad his fav game is and basically the what, 1in 5 LA content creators talking bad bout his own game and potentially kill it faster than Amazon can repair it.

I’m not suprised they tried to drag this and maybe hoped it either will not come to light that fast, people just won’t get this pissed or actually that Amazon does changes with the Argos release which would’ve give them all a chance to talk about it after the fact. But noone of that happened and I don’t think any of them expected Amazon to release Argos this fast with no changes to either matgeneration or honingrates. I’d agree with you, but to me that sounds like they don’t speak their mind unless it’s safe to do so, and I don’t like that behaviour, I find it cowardly. They just don’t want to be on the bad side of a discussion so they’re switching sides depending on the “winning” side.
Fox was indeed one of the first to really speak of the issues, and his video was described by a ton of people as clickbait drama, same with the russian wizzard videos.
Thing is, Asmongold only knows of the differences between our version and the others because these two made videos about it, he never played the other versions himself.
You know who knew the differences ? Sywo, Stoopz and a lot of them who said nothing.
