T3 legendary gear for paladin

Maybe im noob but today i did first abyssal dungeon on 1325 and when i finished i wanted to check the gear i can make. I looked up legendary gear for pala and this actually made me wanna quit the game so if anyone can explain to me this.
Why support class as paladin needs crit rate and crit chance buff on a legendary set? As i go to dungeons my primary job is buffing other players and helping them not die as much as i can, and i do it with joy. I have a feeling t2 set that gives you -30% mana usage is more valuble than any t3 set. Any t3 palas can clerify this for me?

Can confirm, our T3 first Abyssal set has complete garbage set bonuses for us :frowning:

Yes, you’re absolutely right that we don’t need crit in order to support so in regards to that, having crit isn’t going to hurt our ability to support as well. If anything, having crit as part of the set bonus is a plus because we naturally don’t build crit. Even though our crit chance will be low, our skills do crit sometimes and that boost in dmg is always welcomed. Its even better if you have a solo dps build alongside a separate group support build like I do for my paladin main.

Yes i have 2 builds. One for doing stuff around the world when solo and other when i do group events of any type. Naturally you would want that group build to do better since everyone else in group is depending on it. i was thinking that one gear set bonus would be leaning towards “dps” and other towards supporting like it does in t2 but i didn’t think both sets on high t3 would be leaning towards “dps” because its kind of useless in dungeons. Maybe stat like at least 10% increase in healing done would be more valuable. or something like increased buff duration for at least 1 second since my job as a support is to keep 100% of time a debuff on boss and keeping my teammates up with damage dealt increase buff and incoming damage reduction buff as much as i can.

Yeah, it sucks that we don’t have a support option but it is what it is so just take the best out of the two because it won’t hinder our ability to support.

Agreed, the Set Bonuses are very lacklustre for support classes.
