Almost all of the nay-sayer threads against 2FA and CAPTCHA are from people running infinite Chaos Dungeons bot programs and/or RMT customers…:slight_smile:

BIG WIN for all of us legit players. This is exactly what tons of threads asked for in the forums. We wanted CAPTCHA and 2FA and they delivered. They’re complaining about a system that protects the game and players from bots before it is even released, shady.

I don’t mind the captcha as long as it helps, even just a little bit. Everyone here on the forums skskskskksks walls of text but will complain about a captcha every so often.

Fully agree. Maybe 4 or 6 runs limit per day would be enough and would prevent the infinite Chaos Dungeons cheaters…

I think it was intended for players with tons of time and can stomach the mindless grinding to earn some reward while doing it. Many MMO have grindy feature like this where they kill countless mobs for drops.

Obviously, it can be easily automated and abused.

I play this game a LOT, so I’m a little concerned how it’s going to impact me while doing una dailies on 9 characters as well as still doing horizontal content
I guess if they are too annoying I will just cut down on how many chores I do, play less and only log on for weekly raids.

I support any move to cut down the bots but having an intrusive impact on gameplay could be very negative for retention of actual players.

Hopefully they can implement something that will allow real player/payers to bypass it, like having no captcha with cystaline aura.

Only botters crying on this forum against CAPTCHA.
Legit players first want to see how is this work in the game because the patch is not live yet.

I understand your concern but each capcha shouldn’t take more than several seconds for most players. They said that it will be presented when moving from place to place. We will have to see but I doubt it will appear every time you move using bifrost. Personally, I think I can stomach 1-2 per each character doing lopang dailies. But we will see.

I want the bots gone but a fucking capcha when you switch zones?

Man that is going to suck. Hopefully for older accounts that are clearly not bots we can be exempted.

If that’s the case then it shouldn’t really impact the average daily chore loop at all which will be nice.
But yeah we’ll see.
I’m not against it, just concerned.

we haven’t seen how the captcha is implemented yet. You’re already speculating it will pop up every instance you change maps.
