If you don’t like or are not satisfied with the service they are providing or the product itself you’re more than encouraged to leave feedback. Just because you don’t like the feedback doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be given. Many many people were impacted by this, hence the surge in feedback. Just calling it review bombing doesn’t make it so.

It is review bombing precisely because people are not having issue with the product itself.
They are mad because they got banned and it was on their steam - so they talk trash about the game. They dont even play the game anymore, but because they got banned, they are salty and want to vent - that is called review bombing.
They have a problem with the service being provided, not the game itself that’s still a valid complaint. Especially when it impacts other games and communities they are part of.
My 2 cents, it’s not a bad game at all, the legion raids are some of the best encounters I’ve ever done especially Clown and Brel. However the management and communication are absolute dog shit.
Wouldnt have happened if AGS was a competent publisher, if people didn’t put those reviews i’m 100% confident this issue would’ve been dragged way longer than it is now.
Reviews are the only tool people have to fight for quality products in the game industry so try use your brain before typing bs.
I would complain with the Goverment if i somewhat get charged with a Recent Robery, when i didnt enter the store in a year.
Even if the charges are cleared, everyone would still thinks that you are a delinquent.
I have no idea why people here argue for any nonsense like the diference betwen Game and and VAC Ban, is the same shit at the end of the day.

But they are having issues with the product?? What else do you think this is an issue with? The publisher of Lost Ark, wrongfully banned the (former) players of Lost Ark. Therefore Lost Ark gets a bad review… It’s really not hard to understand. Should they be leaving a bad review for some other game instead? When this is the game they got banned from and have a ban record because of?

The thing is though mistakes happen all the time everywhere
And the first thing people do when they see a game ban for a game they haven’t played in a year
Is just go straight to anger and outrage mode while frothing at the mouth over something you haven’t played in a year
Instead of using critical thinking for 2 minutes and just putting in a ticket to get it reversed, then doing something if no action was done
People are so fueled by outrage anytime something slightly bad happens so they go straight to being outraged instead of thinking things through
Don’t get me wrong, AGS fucked up, big time
But once they realized their fuck up tried to fix it as soon as they realized (which surprisingly was quicker than I thought, especially on a weekend)
This outrage would be warranted if not only AGS did nothing for like a week, but said “yeah we’re not changing it, deal with it”
Yet people are acting like this ban was there for weeks when in reality it was hours
It just doesn’t help your cause when people really look at it from afar and screams “this looks like prior review boming attempts, including those positive ones”
So you dont play the game and you enjoyed the game when you played it.
You stopped playing the game. You get banned after half a year.
You cant make a bad review of the game. You dont mind the game, you mind the ban.

I’d like remind you all that in the latest “celebration” from the developers they pretty much ignored anything related to western players. that’s how much they care I suppose.
No. They didn’t mention anything related to any region other than Kr. It has literally nothing to do with the west as the west is AGS’s responsibility and not theirs… A regional game publisher is the de facto dev of the game for their region. They have all the power of a dev when it comes to decision making for their region, it’s just that in the case of AGS, without a team working on the game, they make decisions and Kr does the work…
Please explain one simple thing. Where should the banned people leave a bad review in your opinion? Black Desert Online? Call of Duty? Counterstrike? New World? Guild Wars 2?
There is no logical alternative to Lost Ark’s Steam. And so that’s where the bad reviews go. No need to reply, you’re welcome. Your time is better spent elsewhere, like on polishing that shiny white knight armor you got from Amazon.

Tha it was Korean centric and should have addressed also to western players has been discussed and confirmed by both Stoopz and Zeals. no real point of discussing here nor defending either party.
It’s Korean centric, there is no discussion. The opinions of 2 players with cameras and cults change nothing. Kr doesn’t need to cater to the west in any way, it’s not their responsibility.
As stated, there is nothing to discuss, point finale. I don’t need to defend anyone, you just need to understand that Kr handles Kr and AGS handles their version.
Go get the definition of Publisher and Developer as well as how outsourcing a product or service work. Both Smilegate and AGS have to actually work in harmony together and is a joint effort, and are both mutually responsible.
Your statements strongly defend Korean way of creating and handling games, which numbers says it is not really working (sadly).
