I can understand that server problems take precedence over small inconveniences but MMR being reset everytime you restart or switch characters is just devastating to the pvp scene.
Its akin to starting from scratch at the lowest possible ranked tier everytime you boot up the game.
You have to play in -between 5-15 games until you play against players who know how to press buttons , on every character, everyday, and its just frustrating.
As someone who primarily plays this game for the pvp it results in me just not wanting to play.
Its been almost a month of no updates on this matter, keeping in mind that Lin has brought awareness to this problem quite some time ago.
I dont want to make a post just to complain so i want to offer a solution.
I think what would alleviate my concerns would be some communication about the urgency to fix this and when we could expect said fix.
My thoughts on this matter are just that if such a major flaw to the PVP System is given no attention, there is no reason for me to continue caring about the PVP in this game.
yeah i am aware of that , but so far there has not been any kind of announcement when that will happen. Lin_0 made a post on the 15th of february about this issue. Staff responded quote “Thanks, the team is aware of this bug and has already investigated – it’s out for a fix.”
More than 2 weeks later there are still no signs of this being adressed. Im just concerned that if this is the amount of attention pvp is getting it is doomed.
