Just wanted to share 4 bots doing the same quest at the same time with absolutely nothing on their characters while I was logging guild task.

I guess that is why they wont give power passes anymore starting with Destroyer.
They’ve also started swarming Rohendel servers, I’ve at here at the Chaos Dungeon entrance for about 5 minutes to watch well over 40 different bot names running to the repairer and back.
EDIT: They’re also now running more than just Zerkers/Sorcs they’re also running Artillerists, Shadow Hunter, Deathblade. They’re also now using titles and some are part of guilds, they all follow the same line running to the repair NPC and potion NPC all synced up.

I’m actually kind of worried about the situation of bots. Their numbers keep increasing everyday and more servers are becoming busy servers with people having wait times to login. I can somehow see low population servers getting contested with bots pretty soon as more servers are becoming swarmed with more bots through each passing day. This is just how I see bots in my eyes but the gold prices rising as well with blue crystals is a whole other topic that is concerning as well.

That’s the biggest issue, the economy is a part of it but the fact that even the smallest US West servers need a 1-2 hour queue says a lot. Top that with the new player experience being bots running around, teleporting, stealing mob kills, etc. Doesn’t set a great notion for someone to continue on from there, it’s extremely hard for me to recommend friends to start playing with that experience looming. Now it isn’t even possible to say the cope line “At least you won’t actively see them after X area.”
The long queues are really testing my will to continue playing, I love the game, have poured a ton of hours into it, but this issue is setting so many aspects of the game ablaze and the reaction to it from AGS hasn’t been what I’d call the strongest. I was getting prepared to buy the Ark Pass and a few skins, but the current state causes me a lot of uncertainty on spending if this is the norm. I’m not even thinking that every single bot will be eliminated and that the issue will be solved in a single fell swoop. But it would be nice to have some measures put in place to lead to a point that the issue can be minimized.
Instead right now we just get told to wait, when changes are made on the back end no communication on what was changed happens. Example being some servers getting expanded capacity without saying a thing about it up front. Some ideas are:

Server join freeze happened until something concrete can be implemented

Weekly ban waves until things are more in order

Implementing 2FA phone auth for trading/AH functions

RU server method of making RMTers gold negative to what they bought or straight up stating perma ban for RMT with an actual wave to show they mean business
The lack of any action or severe consequences is why there’s so much RMT and blatant botting. There’s so much confidence that everything to combat them will be half measure or non-existent which is part of the problem.

They are probably real players botting (Yeah now players are also botting for honing mats.) the good thing is that if you report them they actually perma ban for using bots/scripts

Why is AGS not addressing the bot issue with harsher consequences for RTM’ers ?
RTM’ers are the reason for bots to exist. Just permaban first offense or hardware ban them 4ever no mercy. I was planning on spending more money on the game I bought the event thing for $100 dollars but then after becoming aware of the bot issues I will not spend a cent on this game. I will just play casually now or just quit. It’s a shame cause the game is fun and there is more content to be come and I was looking forward to clear that content with friends and guildmates. But some of them quit due to bots and/or lack of AGS communication about the uncertainty of the road map.
