The endless loop of, we won't release X cause data says ABC, you aren't Y iLevel, we aren't Y cause no Z content exist, loop back to front

The whole ‘we’re keeping an eye on where players are’, is beginning to be/look problematic. This entire time we keep hearing players are behind or they’re too far ahead so we made this last-minute decision.

Why does this matter? We keep hearing about how we should play the game at our own pace, are consistently reminded by AGS that we’re being monitored to play at a specific pace.

Which is it? Do we play the game at Jimmy’s pace or Bob’s pace? Because this seems to be the issue, constantly reminding us that Jimmy is behind or Bob is ahead.

Why not just release the content and let the players figure it out on their own. Let us play the game at our own pace instead of looking at data, treating us like data, and then trying to decide what’s best for us. We don’t need to be micromanaged.

This is most likely a result of them releasing Argo’s and then players complaining they felt pressured to spend money to get into the new “Relevant” content as soon as possible. If this kind of response from AGS is upsetting, blame the community…

OP’s logic only makes sense if the assumption is something like ‘they won’t release 1415 content until ppl are at 1415. But no one pushes 1415 until 1415 content’

This loop makes logical sense. But OP’s flaw is assuming Amazon/SMG are looking at players at 1415 to release 1415 content. What if they are looking at the median?

No idea on actual stats but as example only, if median ilevel isn’t even 1340 yet, then that may be the trigger Amazon/SMG is looking for.

I’m not suggesting btw any specific ilevel they ought to look at,simply pointing out that OPs assumption of looping logical fail is only valid if they are doing something so silly as looking at exact match ilevel players only to decide releasing that ilevel content.

I just hope they dont fuck up and delay valtan and all that stuff. should come LATEST 14. may

Yeah it’s the players’ fault for not liking the 30 level dead zone of no unlockable content. So the only natural response is to blame players when Amazon decides to ignore feedback and instead just double the release time for new content while leaving honing and the lack of income sources intact.

Sounds like a shill to me lol. Mr. Shekkelstein needs to up their game with their employees.
