The game shuts down after anticheat

Hi,

Since today’s update every time i try to launch the game i get the easyanticheat as normal, it goes through, and after it closes as it should the game doesn’t load and instead on steam i see that the button switches to green again letting me start the game. (the process also isn’t in Task Manager anymore).

I have also looked in eventviewer as well but couldn’t find a relating error message even there.

I have an Nvdia gforce 1050 ti and amd ryzen 3 3200G

I have tried :
uninstalling the game and reinstalling
deleting/redownloading physxupdateloader
run anything i could with admin privileges admin
repair easyanticheat
uninstall and reinstall easyanticheat
checked drivers
verified game files
add Launch_Game and LostARK as exceptions to antivirus

I am running out of things to do.

I saw suggested somewhere to check to see if Windows has an update but I also found this thread:

It has some staff responses and a good amount of replies, so it might have a solution for you.

that’s the thread i was trying to follow and do any steps ppl have suggested but it still doesn’t work.

A couple more things to try here as well. It’s a bit of an older thread but still worth a try.

If none of these help, I hope a staff member responds soon and is able to resolve it.

Yes sadly I have tried these already and I still have this issue.

windows 10? any chance u tried troubleshooting windows update and then reboot?

I have done that, it found some errors, and now at least i get errors.

It starts the same, i get through anticheat, and then it shuts down all the same but immediatly after i get this prompt to which by clicking ok it starts again.

On the second run i get error code 30005 createfile failed with 32. to which i tried to follow the steps from Easy Anti-Cheat but i couldn’t get it to work.

I have also verified the integrity of the files and repaired anticheat

last time i had a constant eac error in lostark, i ran the troubleshooter for windows update, reboot, and never saw the issue again. The only other thing that stops lostark loading is the genshin launcher, i got to make sure its not on, maybe u should look out for those programs in background.

I have tried the troubleshooter which detected some things but even after rebooting the issue is there, also it turns out it can restart 3 times before it first runs into an error and at each restart it adds another -steam_login_pub to the pop up

maybe u want to upgrade to windows 11, i had less issues in win 11, i think. Some pple tell me they didnt have any configuration issues in win11

A friend of mine told me to do a full windows reset following this Give your PC a Fresh Start - Microsoft Support

and it solved my problem. Sad that i needed a full reset but it is what it is. Thank you for the suggestions in this thread.
