I played yesterday Vykas, it had like 14 groups for normal around 10CET and 9 for HM. I don’t see any problem with finding people for whole T3 content. Market is bad yes, but as a Paladin i am almost full build. I need only 2 earings and they are available in the market but too expensive. About the engravings i already bought 7 blessed aura legendary books, now i am saving gold for the other 13. And population on EUW can be small bit it’s the best. As i see how much toxic people there are in NA and EUC i feel very happy in EUW.
i rather go cash into immortal before i do another 1490 from the scratch on a different server. but tbh euw is absolutely dead. if i search mayhem relic i get 3 results and they are total junk. quitting for now, with a dead market you don’t even have enough income to fail a single honing per week. pointless.
All the people who were telling everyone to just go to West were such bad actors. They literally tricked all the new players into having a shit experience just so they can have no queue.
It was obvious the launch hype will die waaaay down eventually and then all the extra servers that were made for hype purposes will die out. Especially since most players who had interest in the game before it came out made their accounts on EU Central.
All the other players that came after were the players from the hype wave. Not the players who were interested before, so a much larger amount of them probably left there after.

Problem is not sunday evening. Problem is offpeak times.
I work from home and I get to play 1-2 Hrs in the morning, but unless I do chaos dungeons or go fishing there’s NOTHING to do because there are no groups for ANY content.
On addition, our market prices will never adapt to EUC/NA ones, because we have less people filling the market.
EUW players are frustrated which leads to more people quit playing on EUW.

Give the people some god damn hope.
Man, I feel bad for the people that took the “just move to EUW” bait. Let this be a lesson - never ever move away from the high-pop servers / regions in MMOs if you plan on playing long-term. Queues are better than dead servers.
What statement? AGS/SG have already stated that they do not have the tech to merge or let people move across regions. Heck, even in-region server transfers aren’t a thing. Apparently even on KR they were in an early beta state at best.
Well the latest statement was something along the lines that they’re watching player numbers.
And just because there has been no solution doesn’t mean there is no solution, right?
A good statement would be like “EUW was a mistake, no solution planned, no compensation either.” or an approximate time and plan on how to address the problem. That way EUW players could stop hoping for a solution and go play another game or start over on EUC.
For all we know the solution might be too costly to be worth it. Migrating large amounts of data can be a nightmare to implement if a system was never designed to support it.
Amazon would never admit something like that.

On the other hand, they could monetize the transfer just like Blizzard did. Of couse alot of ppl would be upset about it but in the end they wouldnt lose all EUW players.

Besides, 10PM CET is quite late, for a lot of people living in Western Europe, to start a gate - especially if you want to join a chill learning party.
Yesterday, while in voice chat, someone mentioned that KR is getting just now the ability to add cross-server friends. I did not check whether it’s true or not, but at least something is changing.
The issue that we have in EU and NA are the different regions: it was a workaround, but a badly implemented one. Maybe they hoped the new regions would be as populated as the old ones, but the bots drove away a lot of legit players.
I like the game and I enjoy T3 raiding, that’s why I’ve been keeping up with it until now.

Same. But looking at our market and comparing it with EUC is kinda frustrating… It will only get worse the longer they wait for a solution.

Yesterday night (10:24 PM CEST) I was looking for a Valtan normal group
And yes, I understand there are more groups between Thursday and Sunday, but this is quite sad.
How you know they wait, maybe the are working on the problem. But merging regions without having the proper functions take a lot of time to be created and implement it. Be patient.

Watching the numbers simply sounds like doing nothing until it’s to late. The current EUW players obviously want to play the game, I don’t know why they’re waiting for them to quit to consider providing a solution to this problem.

It is and it will only get worse the more content drops.
I believe AGS/SG can now merge EUC with EUW with no problems. There will be still the repeated char names problem but if they add a symbol to all EUW names this would deconflict it, maybe an € or something like an #…
