There is not so much new content unreleased :). We miss 2 raids, 2 guardians, 1 continent with 1 abyssal dungeon and tower T3.
Merging servers might complex than just copy and pasting data from a to b.
But thats still a thing AGS and SG should communicate. Right now we’re not even sure if they’re even working on a solution.
Ok. Lets put it simple.
Smaller population means less people reach new content.
Therefore less people populate the auction house with accessoires and stones. On the same time less gold in being generated because there’s less players doing the content. As result the prices of any decent accessoires will be high.
A very simple example is thornspire. Less players > less Grudge books > higher prices.
With each new Content, there will be less people that had the gold or the luck to gear up their character, which leads to frustration, which leads to players quitting.
I told people months ago to sack their EUW progress and comeback to EUC. They didn’t want to hear it and here we are coping for a server merge when it took months to sort the clock.
They are ever so hesitant to say anything that could be misconstrued, hence the “mid June” debacle. They may be looking into a solution but announcing what they are trying to do would ultimately be taken as gospel and people would rage if the solution never came to fruition.
I digged a bit and found the, I think, latest statement to the topic here
So what you say sounds somehow reasonable, yet I would like to have more information than just that they’re working on it. In the end the longer it takes to work on a solution the worse the problem gets.
The market is so bad the average price of an accessory in mid-range quality is around 20k gold with the higher-end quality items looking at around 50-100k gold just for one item.
Including books for 5 x 3 unless you are lucky its easy 250k gold or higher to build a 5 x 3 set.
Oh, and it does not help that we have people sniping accessories for resale.
what I guess would that other issues were prioritized higher than the EUW region issue.
From my point of view, they will just let the region die and try to get as much profit as they can while doing so. Just try to join a somewhat active guild and try to do the runs internally as long as the region lasts.
