Iāve had decent RNG with cooking. Not so much island souls. I got the meat in the first five attempts. Then another 30 attempts later I got the first sprig to complete the meal in yorn.

Congratulations my friend.
That was the very last thing I needed to finish my Ignea 13 and by god was it annoying to farm.
By the end of it I had all 5 characters hunting for that meat each day.

I got it like a month ago with a total of 50-60 chestsā¦ I havenāt finished with the rapport and 2 more ingredients tho

I did the Una task like three times.
This is purely random, and while I agree that it can be frustrating, I donāt feel bad that it might take some time to collect collectibles in MMO. It took me a couple of months, but many other games have achievements and collectibles that take years to complete, so no big deal.
Yeah, they are supposed to be like 3-5% drop chance on avarage 
Some people have to occupy the other side of the normal distribution chart

Congratulations! Iām still hoping I could get mine anytime soon. I have to pray to the rng gods for good luck.
Donāt worry about that too much though! As with all collectibles, itās optional/horizontal content, and weāll get it one day!

It took me forever to get that damned meat in Yorn with I think 3 chars running it for months. Glad you finally got it.

They are collectibles, that arenāt having almost any impact on progression. MMORPGs arenāt designed to have 100% completion on all achievements/horizontal progression in 3 months.
I am fine with this as this is designed as expected. Donāt like it donāt do it. I already maxed almost all other reputations and can leave one lopang/leapstone daily converted for horizontal rng.
Still better than some WoW achievements, that take you a year of grind and failing to complete one event makes you wait for another year to come.
Save that meat! I spent months farming for it with 3 chars. Youāre lucky to get one that early, the other two arenāt that hard to get. I made a meme of it after getting bored, but this char had only about a week worth of mats, when I ended up farming a lot more in total:
