A typical matchmaking Kungelanium raid starts out something like this:
One or more players throw a flare.
Everyone starts running toward the guardian.
Two players call pheromone numbers on the way there.
The player who didn’t call or throw anything yet starts running back to the spawn point to equip a Corrosive Bomb, or they’re still standing there because of slow loading or not paying attention.
The other three players stop outside the guardian’s location and wait 10-30 seconds for the last player to catch up.
The last player finally arrives, and everyone runs in to start the stagger check.
In the time people are waiting for someone to go back for a Corrosive Bomb, they could all have at least one entire Weak Point rotation off cooldown again. So logically, no one should be going back for it.
And even if someone does go back (or if they’re significantly late getting to the guardian for any other reason), everyone else should be going in to attack anyway. The worst-case scenario is that you fail the stagger check and have to step away for 2 seconds afterward, in which case you’ll still finish the raid faster than you would have if you’d waited.
I just carry flares and pheros, if someone wants to corro, they can carry it around, problem is when 2 ppl have corro and they dont communicate.
Agree on waiting part, why wait for like 30-60sec when you could just nearly break boss in that time already.
Thanks to the recent hyper express Kungelanium has become yet another guardian infested with 3 engraving zdps leechers. If you MM be prepared to hand out free carries to randoms and battle items I’m not gonna even go into that.
Depending on the build whether it’s swiftness or not and whether the party is dumb enough to wait for the stagger check since there is no punishment or a reason to not go in unless it takes less time for the 4th player to run in than what it takes for the party to take a few steps to the side and back to avoid the AoE
If you miss a weak point rotation for the bomb then the time loss is class and build dependent. If everyone has the same amount the payback happens immediately after the next rotation your party does from the breaking point boost so it’s still worth it
So overall it makes a lot of sense, even though nobody malds if one player doesn’t use corro since the pheromones are the biggest timesaves so most players just run in as a group without it. That’s a very pleasant way to do Kunge
There should be a Velganos equivalent at each tier so the good players can solo it while the bad players can cry about battle item usage in their matchmade groups.
The issue is that people stop to type in chat what item they are using. Just run in and start attacking if you are that worried about how long the raid will take you!
