It needs to be setup so you no longer have to click the guardian’s soul for your loot… if that shit ends up inside a wall or hidden behind the monster so you forget to grab it, you get nothing and it still consumes your rest bonus + Harvest Soul counts for the day

This was always strange. I know they want to mirror Monster Hunter with these and i love that (obviously) but even in Monster Hunter you still get quest rewards if you forget to carve and theyre significant.
Here, you get nothing practically.
I think the fact that it counts, even though you haven’t collected the soul, is slightly irking. It’s annoying to constantly remember, and physically click sometimes. Playing through the game, we’re groomed to just press the “G” key, and bank on our pets to pick up everything since the majority of games modes drop loot for us. I know tons of people that have done this multiple times… Friends and randoms. Hopefully this can be updated in the future.
