The "Paint it white if not paid for" mechanic in the Dying System is really strange and awkward and I don't like it

Aaaand still ! bump

Its not just awkward, its predatory. Its basically so you must dye everything which will obviously cost more.

I also agree with the color blindness thing, double sucks for me because of it.

I mean we all know why they do it this way. But i’d rather sleazy vanity microtransactions than what they do alongside it with mats >.<.

Yeah this system makes sleazy MTX look good.

I’d prefer PoE’s $60 wings to this nonsense, at least they were straight up about it.

This is really annoying, I now have 130 pattern reagents and 90 shiny reagents, but 0 dye since everytime I want to change one single color I have to use 30…

I can just about imagine the meetings they had at Smilegate trying to come up with all the elaborate ways and currencies to implement.

Every normal person would just take a dye system from a popular game and use it. SG add two hard to obtain currencies to it and make the system so convoluted that you have to Google how to use it on your first time.

I’m confused as to why the dyes aren’t craftable as another simple gold sink like making potions is.

I will automatically ignore ā€œbecause cash shopā€. They have- Damnit Banished.

Was going to say they have enough cash shop… items…

Because you can buy the from the cash shop.

You can never have enough cash shop items :stuck_out_tongue:

Just did this last night. Had the black noble weapon just wanted to dye a section red. Had to dye the whole thing black again or else it would be white!

On top of that why is one dying job = to 10 potions? So you seem like your getting a ton of potions buying 100 pots but that’s only 10 dye jobs! Such a rip off.
