The thing I totally agree with is that the price of pheons for purple and legendary accessories are way too high now that we have relic accessories. We should change the pheon price of the legendary accessories for example 15->3 to make the cost reasonable.
On the other hand, as mentioned above, even at 2500g per 100 crystals, I think the game is totally playable with the amount of gold you get per week, you just need to be patient.
The thing that it would be good, however, is that the events give more pheons for new players. 9 pheons per week is not enough, I would give at least triple that.
You make a good point here, and I get it, I really do. But if they just make it so that all the cosmetic items purchased for RC are bound. Then the F2P players will continue needing to purchase BC for cosmetics. Sure gold prices might fall a bit with this in place, pricing items in appropriate values and quantities in Mariās shop would also mitigate this.
A world could exist without the pheon, where Amazon still makes a profit on the game and players are happy. Iām not sure exactly how it looks, but I sure as hell would like to hope it looks better than our current implementation.
Man, not sure why u keep weaseling through the arguments like that⦠you as an individual are not required to pay with REAL money to purchase relic gear. U can play the game normally like us f2p players and still be able to afford itā¦. Like seriously whatās wrong with u, the other guy gave u detailed explanation on how to do that and u still donāt get it
The argument that Pheons are good for āflipping protectionā and āto prevent inflationā is the dumbest thing Iāve ever heard.
In real life, is there something like pheons that prevent people buying and selling merchandise? And at the same time supposedly prevent inflation? Ridiculous.
The only thing pheons do is tax us players for the game. It drains our gold and thus make players more incline buy blue crystal/royal crystal, swiping
Agree 100ā , I had this destroyer at 1370 with trash accesories so I decided to take it to 1415 because I had some gold saved, I had to spend 30k raw gold only on honing I got really unlucky after weeks of farming leapstones and saving chests⦠Then when gearing I had to spend another 22k only on fking pheone and 10k on the actual accessories⦠With 0 tripods and lv 5 gems⦠When I will make that gold back in 2 years?
Its 11k gold in EUC for 100 pheons.
Itās not even enough to get a full relic set lol.
A resource such as pheons where its used by everyone in gearing characters because you canāt progress without pheons (and rerolling stones) has no business being only something you can get trough an ingame shop.A resource as important as this should also be given as part of loot reward ingame.
+1 but let me say something, you havenāt knowledge about how lucky you are, 950 gold per crystal is beautiful. At this point in SA we are paying 2.5k, i hope Amazon made changes but i doubt, at least in SA the only end i see is the die of the server
I crunched the numbers based on a generic scenario⦠maybe you are the one taking things out of context
even if you adjusted the gold income, the game reduces gold/pheon needs as it only increases with the more alts you playā¦
maybe you are just confused⦠and yeah, i already pay 25% federal taxes every year which i have zero clue where it even goes on top of state taxes so might as well say 30-35% of my income just goes somewhere, and i 100% donāt care. Same shit in the game.
Just remove the pheons completely, this system doesnt make sense nor does it solve anything, its just developers greed, no other game with free market has this system.
Market manipulation goes both ways, with receiving a rare drop, you earn more aswell. Flipping or merching in mmos is as old as mmorpgs itself, why should it change now? Its a system that just shooās off newer players which kills off the longetivity of the game.
Anyone protecting pheons seems to not have much of mmo experience and dont really know what they are defending in the long term lmao
So you just assumed everyone makes the most amount of money possible? Hmm I wonder why not everyone has a multi milion dollar yacht, a private jet and an island in the pacific, all they have to do is make the most amount of money possible.
Of course if that were the case it would cause inflation and the price of blue crystal would go up but its a waste of time trying to teach you economy.
