The Pheons incident

Seen a lot of posts today and I have also seen players getting their forum accounts suspended because “they didn’t provide constructive criticism and actual feedback”. Decided to create the forum account now, since I was never in the whole forum world in any game, I didn’t have one until now.

Anyway, in your words the items attached to the emails were a mistake altogether. As far as I’m concerned, when you make a mistake, you own up to the consequences or responsibilities, you don’t try to make it all disappear like nothing ever happened. Trying that, in my opinion, is an unprofessional game-dev move. A response like “the mail was a mistake, but you know what? We appreciate all of you and apologize, but you can keep them as a token of gratitude for your patience with the MANY disconnects this week.”, would be heavily appreciated. I know that most active posts in the forums are the ones that cry, as in ask for not actually cry, for compensation about X or how the developers/CMs have poor communication with the players, but I can safely say that if you had a more professional approach to the situation and you owned up to YOUR mistake, the players would greatly appreciate it and they would show it to you in whatever way.
Even if you don’t want people to claim 10 pheons per character (some ppl claimed 240), the least you can do is let us have 60 pheons which is the base amount for the base character slots available to everyone. Also, downtime to fix said mistake means the players “suffer” even further, so something must be done about this for sure.

Thank you to anyone who reads this, be it player, developer, community manager etc.

P.S: I know this is long and to my friends who may see it and say it’s cringe or whatever, game’s down, who’s to blame me? xD
