The region is currently closed stuck to only SA

I’ve ran into this issue yesterday, i now am stuck in SA region and cant swap back. I don’t run a vpn or anything and the only way i can get on is through my hotspot. I’ve read a few posts and tried the solutions on them and nothing is working. i was notified that my ip may be block and was wanting to reach out. I’ve dmed @Roxx but I’m seeing if other moderators are on to help with getting this resolved. Thanks in advance! (made this post because i think i posted it in the wrong discussions area)

I’m in the same situation. It appears they have blocked multiple ISPs from accessing the game.

I’m in the same boat as well. It started a few days ago for me. I contacted Amazon’s Customer support multiple times, and in the end they sent me to Roxx lol. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

  • ISP
  • Server
  • Region
  • Character Name
  • IP Address.
  • If you do not know how to find your public IP, click this link and include the result in your ticket.

It’s not our problem, it’s your problem. Fix it, don’t ask us to do tasks that won’t have any effect. I did everything there before I even filed a ticket. You’ve sat on it for two days now.

i have tried that step along with a dns flush among a few other solutions i found throught the forums. when i was talking to some streamers they mention a similar thing happened to them and it was due to there ip being block due to Lost Ark blocking ISPs to bots.

This is most likely exactly the issue. SG/AGS is blocking huge subnets of IPs they think are associated with bots. Effectively, they’re swinging a bat around trying to hit bots and smashing their customers in the face instead.

are you talking about the ticket, i didnt and they said they were bringing it up to the with the tech team and havent heard back.

I have already attempted to do this, multiple times. Customer Support sent me back here. They said:

"As we checked we found that that this error comes up and tells how your connection is being routed by your network or ISP.

In this case, You can contact Roxx our Lost Ark forum admin with your public IP address as the team will check and may be able to help directly"

I sent a DM to Roxx with some details, but have yet to hear back. However, I would like to know who I actually need to speak to, as going back and forth between two different customer service teams is not going to help this problem get fixed.

well when i talked with datmodz he mention to dm roxx because he is the one that doing the ip scanning. i have also dmed him but he may be in a different timezone or away at the moment

Still in the same situation as you guys and still isn’t been resolved for 3 weeks :smiling_face_with_tear: I had some backup internet, though not that good and limited but still works in connecting to the game
I tried 4 different ISP and 2 of them are blocked and they have similar ISP
ISP: KDDI Corporation

good to know making a ticket doesn’t help so i don’t waste my time :upside_down_face:

I’m seeing the same thing and the only way for around it for me is using the hotspot from my phone. This is silly and they need to roll back this change.

still no fix for region closed SA only :no_mouth:
