This is not the first time EU is treated like a 5th grade cousin. Not just by Amazon.
Amazon deserves all the shht. Their decisions are so insanely (I-N-S-A-N-E-L-Y) bad (talking about New World) that i can’t even fathom how one could think it’s good.

This was clearly the last release from Amazon that i pre-ordered or cared about at all. I wasn’t sure if i want to buy the pack. “But i thought: The game is already released in other regions what can possibly go wrong? All the decisions were made over the years. Amazon can’t efff it up.”
Oh, don’t worry, I am well aware of that. I’ve been playing mmos for 20 years+ now (starting with Tibia, if you can even count that as a mmor :p)
I agree with that. It’s just that at the same time, I don’t want to take away the option to play Lost ark to those who have been expecting it for literally years now. So I rather hope they will change their way of managing the game (which will benefit all of us with it) rather than burning and crashing the game to the ground.

Ahhh. okay. I don’t thikn it will have a HUGE impact, since the souls community and mmo community don’t really have that much in common, so there aren’t really that many players who will drop LA permanently for ER, even though it’s going to be one of the greatest '22 releases.
dude, the fact that you cant be transfered to another region, double purchas e in the store, and many many many bugs… THEY ARE ALL ON SMILEGATE, ALL OF IT. In fact AMzon already said that BECAUSE HOW THE GAME IS CODED (this was already throwing the ball onto Smilegate) THEY CANT give us transfers.
SMILEGATE IS AS MUCH AS A FAILURE AS THE REST WHO WORKED ON THIS WESTERN RELEASE.

To some degree I agree with you, but to be fair the Korean version of the game does have some kind of a server transfer implemented in game already (with the button, window, ect.).
It is not impossible to make a server transfer. There are other solutions too. Even manual transfers are not actually THAT hard. You can write a few sql commands to make it semi automatized.
It’s server, and it’s in beta and you still lose most of the stuff. What we need is not server to server, but region to region. Because what good will it do to us if we move within the same region (let’s say EUC). The problem will still be present. So, no region to region , and it’s all because how they coded this game.
Also i have a huge huge gripe with the UI, with the amount of customization we can ( or better said, we can’t ) do! I can’t filter loot spam on my screen, adjust the position where loot is showed on my screen, disable annoying sound features, and more and more and more. This is ALL SMILEGATE, not Amazon. I am in no way whitewashing amazon, but let’s give guilt to EVERYONE deserving it, shall we?

A not too complicated SQL line can literally copy all the info about a character on another database. It’s REALLY not that complicated.
Also, the Korean devs knew their market so they created a game that suited it. Amazon clearly didn’t really look at the numbers and hence we have a huge queue, which is creating the problem in the first place.
Every game has limitations that might become apparent in a different environment. This is not the devs fault, but rather the publishers for not looking into it PRIOR release.
Considering this is practically the only job they have to do as publishers, it is most definitelly their fault.
Truth be told, I feel NEW WORLD 2.0 coming, the same management that killed New World is now killing Lost Ark, only thing AGS care about is money.
The game is amazing but theyre not the only ones providing it, and honestly if this continues I will refund and swap back to previous publisher with who there was no such hurdle as we have here…
Were up to the point where support is suggesting that all the lag and overload is caused by client side - Blasphemy. AGS Support 1st answer to missing aura or dungeon queues not working is - reinstall your game or reset windows - are you mad?

The problem that the multi billion company amazon don’t invest in an double (reserve) infrastructure espacially after they f**ked they own game (new world) - i mean just in case - but that would be an affront to all their shareholders and also an smooth(er) release is for AGS an jet unlearned lesson. Big Company - Big launches - big fails - big learning curve?!
I don’t know “how much more grey hairs” the CM have right now but the communication and/or the commandline up the hirarchy was not in every situation optimal. CMs “standard answer repertoire” seems kinda exhausted too.

150 hours, gold founder, and hyped for 5 years. i dropped out yesterday completely. i dont care about the game anymore. The Holy Gold River is a joke. he simply counts money and gives a f*uck about the EU. Amazon too. the game was a pure Pre-order scam. im so disappointed. worst launch in the last 10 years.
hmmm somehow I’m sure it has nothing to do with that the US spent 40.54B $ on ingame perches. EU and other regions are just icing on the cake for amazon, im 100 % convinced only money made from the US could sustain the entire western release
